@cyotos7 hey @cyotos7 thanks! I just learned it by hearing, it was very difficult... I performed with my band "Hot Fur" at the Zappanale festival in Germany the last summer and had to perform some Zappa tunes, so I took this project upon myself :) this is the only solo I know from there.

@bramverbeek2 thanks, its mostly a mode of the Melodic Minor scale, starting from the 5th note of D melodic minor. but he (Zappa) uses also the augmented and diminished scales in some point.

Really impressive it's one of my favorite and I think this one is really characteristic of his way of approaching solos both melodically and rythmically. I'll try to play it from your video. Great work once again!

Superb.
Even better than ThreeLeggedMongooses version, though he himself does excellent covers of Inca Roads, Ancient Armaments and Deathless Horsie.
