  • Nice vid and looks like you're having a good time! couple suggestions would be watch the face (gob) cuts. looks like a slight bypass on the face at 4:20. didn't seem to do any harm there, but best to be in the habit of cutting a clean face everytime..Also leavign te blocks so far below the cut on some of those pieces can create a good bit of shcok load. if you do the math. the forces can build up fast, especially if the groundie doesn't or can't let the bit run. check out my vids you'll like 'em

  • Only thing I'd suggest mate is not shock-loading the pulleys. Just let the limbs run on the rope (slow 'em down if you have to, but if you are stopping like you are doing in the vid it drastically increases the risk to the climber if the limb failing - you did mention "it's a rotten ol' tree").
