@ICe4563 originally the assassins had to cut off their ring fingers for 2 reasons.

1. It was to show that they were dedicated to the weapon so that when it was ejected it would replace the finger.

2. So that it would work properly. The string that was used to extend the blade would have to be sewn into the bone of the ring finger so that when it was pulled back the blade would extend.

Later when he became a mentor he modified it so that the assassins could not be recognized by the lack of their

@ElectronicElation I don't. know if this is both or just brotherhood, but the reason he's missing a finger and there is only 1 hidden blade is because, instead of creating a new character model, they actually used Altiares model from the first game. You can tell cuz his eyes are a different coler than Ezio's.

The outfit is just Altair's original model from the first game... to everyone who got confused about wondering why Ezio has no left ring finger and only one hidden blade... it's still there... Hope that helped.

So long as you complete the entire game and any actions within the game required by Uplay you should have enough points for everything that uPlay offers I believe.

Uplay is only for ps3!!! Also, the only way to get uplay points is doing what they say to do. I have all achievements and all treasure and feather etc etc... You dont get any award from uplay for those things

You could have just held down whatever button it is for you to attack. (I play on 360) This allows you to hold your hidden blade out. Yes, HIDDEN BLADE, not "Assassin's Blade". Just thought I should correct you.

@SpideyKid2001 During Altair's time, the Hidden Blade required you to have your ring finger amputated due to it's design, which was that the blade was close to the finger.

Thanks to his Codex though, the Hidden Blade was revised to allow wielders to keep their ring fingers for undercover purposes.
