@MonicaIsHere1 it's a software used to brush up pics to achieve that 'airbrushed' look. You can soften the skin, change eye colour, whiten teeth, lighten/darken skin etc etc. If you look at all Asma's still pics, and compare them with her 'done up' face you will see the huge difference in skintone and skin texture etc. Not just Asma, a lot of the make up gurus on here do it :)

A person who is already light to begin with appear light! go and try to make alek wek look "light" there is no huge difference from her before and after pics, u can still see its her! and nobody likes dim dark lighting wither.

ARABIC is the name of the language whereas ARAB is the actual being who wheres the makeup. How would you like it if people call your makeup URDU makeup or HINDI makeup? And you look a million dollars MashAllah.However just on your video from the beginning you had it written on the bottom what you were applying (very handy) but towards the middle and end of the tutorial there were no scripts of what you were applying, even though you did mention what you were applying. @MonicaIsHere1 it's a software used to brush up pics to achieve that 'airbrushed' look. You can soften the skin, change eye colour, whiten teeth, lighten/darken skin etc etc. If you look at all Asma's still pics, and compare them with her 'done up' face you will see the huge difference in skintone and skin texture etc. Not just Asma, a lot of the make up gurus on here do it :)

@girlyimage i know 'arabic' can be used as a noun and an adjective...however i rather stick to what my friends prefer rather than prove a point against them from the dictionary. You call it what you like, I was merely stating how I feel towards the word and how it makes my arab friends feel when the word for their language is used to describe their culture.

@girlyimage when talking about the chinese, their language is chinese as well as their race. Spanish people speak spanish and are their race is spanish unless you're talking about mexicans in which case they are hispanics...however it is appropriate to use the word 'arab' makeup since it is done by the arabs instead of using 'arabic' which mostly implies the language. I am not an arab myself however I have many arab friends. i know how defensive they can get when it comes to 'arab' and 'arabic'.

Also, how come you're NC 30? Dont you have warm undertones? Shouldn't you be like an NW 25? NW 30 might be too dark. You always say you have olive undertones so maybe NC 30 for cooler undertones might not be as well suited as the NW...please let me know if you try it! Aldo have you ever used revlon colorstay? Do you think it would work for your skin tone? What shade?

Nice tutorial! I have the same skin tone but I don't think I can pull it off like you! Anyways,more importantly, you need to make a correction! It's not ARABIC makeup...its ARAB makeup! ARABIC is the name of the language whereas ARAB is the actual being who wheres the makeup. How would you like it if people call your makeup URDU makeup or HINDI makeup? No, it's Pakistani/Indian makeup. So please make that correction because it does offend arabs, myself included. Thank you.

@Carbonshimmer According to the World English Dictionary, the word "Arabic" can refer to "denoting or relating to this language, any of the peoples that speak it, or the countries in which it is spoken." So you see its a cultural reference too, not race. "Arab" is a race reference and we are not talking about race here. One can adopt culture but not race. A non-Arab can not become Arab. But can adopt "Arabic"culture. Same as one adopts Chinese or Spanish Culture, but cannot become tht race.

You seem to wear a lot of make up and nail polish, how do u read ur Namaaz like that? Do u wear hijab for religious reasons or is it more of a fashion statement for u? This look is very nice, but its far too light for ur skintone. You almost look plastic!
