By the time this set came on, many in the crowd were very irritated by the lack of water (I was there), seemed like the organizers only considered 1 bottle/water per person (400,000) but did not think that people would require more than 1 bottle through the 12 hours of concert.

I read somewhere JT didn't really wanna do it just because he knew the response from Stones fans probably would be what it was. But Mick Jagger really wanted him to do it and it was for a benefit. Bottom line, if you go to a concert and throw things at the performers, you are probably just a bad person. And you don't make Stones' fans look good when you pull something like that, you just make them look like jerks too. Majority of people there had class but clearly a few didn't.
