Hey Strider... That setup sounds excellent!!! I am going with the same two brands. Which Bassani X Pipe is that? Is it the BS20 or the BX19? If not which one? Too many choices...
Thanks. Actually the part number is: Bassani 46993. It's the Stainless Steel catted version, which also includes off-road delete pipes so I can go catless anytime.
Hey Thanks a lot Strider... Thats the one I have been looking into... It sounded like it would make a great compliment to the awesome Stainless Steel Borlas! Keep revving my friend because your setup sounds BEAST! Take care man!
I like it better with the X pipe. This vid was taken right after I installed the X pipe, so it sounds alittle more "euro" than it will be once the cats break in.
kool.. i just install borlas in my 04 gt and I like them a lot but i am sure I ll want to make them louder later on so I ll probably get and x pipe or just an H pipe.
Thanks! I filmed that like right when I got home after getting the X pipe installed. It was a bit high pitched in this vid. I will make another one soon and do it outside cause this was also taken inside the garage so the sound wasn't very good too
Is the "hollow" sound from the x-pipe or the cat back? I want that sound from my 99 gt but idk which part will deliver that. From the cat back, xpipe, or both combined? My car now sounds pretty much like an old school muscle car but I want the sound like you have.. .that exotic muscle car sound haha. Any help is greatly appreciated! O and amazing sound btw
I'm not sure whats the hollow sound that you mean...usually a "hollow" tone is more of a flowmaster or a MAC or any kind of chamber muffer type catback. I took this video pulling into an apartment garage right after I had the X pipe installed. It sounds alittle different in more open air and also the brand new catted X made the car sound a bit like a European exotic but then toned down after it broke in. I sorta made a new exhaust video recently and I'll post that up so you can hear it better.
@bobert866 by hollow do you mean the sort of poppin or cattle when you rev it up. at about 3000 rpm is where it usually does it on my car. its kind of a bad ass sounding drone. that would be the x pipe.
sounds really good
