  • Wooah i thought it was mj :)

  • "Rapture"? Some people believe the craziest shit.

  • Stope reading to us. Also, can you possibly jerk the camera around any more?

  • i enjoy every bit, but plz slow down. if u want to make a religious statement, then be clear! u went way too fast! the "non-Believers" will squawk and then leave u alone. be brave! this is very informative either way...with or without religion. God Bless.

  • yuck

  • Just a heads up for those who don't already know, you can keep eggs from going bad by simply coating them with mineral oil and keeping the eggs in a dry fairly cool place they will stay good for approx.8-12 months, not near as long as dehydration but a good thing to know.God bless folks:)

  • thats a bunch of BS....this aint bible study

  • Ew, who scrambles eggs with oil??

  • Please can you show me where there is a rapture in the Bible?

  • @1fanger All depends how you define "rapture". The traditional definition of "rapture"- it's nowhere in the Bible. The idea of people disappearing 7 years before the "end of the worlds as we know it" is not in the Bible at anywhere and is a false teaching found is most churches. Sad, isn't it?

  • @YounaTuber WOW-I seldom find Believers like you-and I agree! For that matter-this kind of prepping may be good for regular emergencies and short term! During the Tribulation-TRUE FAITH/ELIJAH ANOINTING...

  • It's a good idea when cooking eggs in batch to crack them individually into a saucer first. That way a bad egg can be discarded without destroying the batch. Eggs with a blood spot should also be discarded as they contain an Amino acid that will spoil the egg within a few days of laying.

  • @RICKYRASPER the other test is to stick in ice cold water as a whole egg and see if it floats. if it floats it is a bad one.

  • Little Miss Suzie Homemaker with tats. That is sooooo koooowall!!!

  • Of course you are making the dehydrated eggs for yourself, but.....

can the process be redone, with just the necessities? thanks hun.

  • if you want them to last longer and be safer use salt and hotsouse only in the eggs and cookthe eggs on low with no oil or butter. then pute the stuff in a food saver. and onlisletthe best way to preserve is a time old maner that a egg will nevvergo bad if kepin a cool pace and it checkedwith a light tomake sure thare no cracksin the shell. ever herd of a 1000 year old egg that is cus of this.

  • if you want them to last longer and be safer use salt and hotsouse only in the eggs and cookthe eggs on low with no oil or butter. then pute the stuff in a foodsaver.

  • Hold on a sec. I'm a bit lost here. Eggs aside, that book makes no sense what so ever. A survival book for Chriatians, (AKA a faith that believes that during the rapture all Christains well go to heaven, hence leave Earth) so survive on Earth after the Rapture.

  • @ogunshi "a faith that believes that during the rapture all Christains well go to heaven, hence leave Earth" Huh?? Leaving earth? I've never read anything in the bible that talks about people leaving the earth or being whisked away to heaven, and I certainly don't believe in such nonsense. :D

  • @YounaTuber Please define your beliefs concept of 'The Rapture'.

  • @YounaTuber I am not trying to start a fight or bash. Just trying to understand the book.... As said in "I Thess. 4:13-17" namely 17, "After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."

  • @YounaTuber yeah, what if you are wrong? 5 seconds in hell and you will sure be a believer won't ya?

  • @ogunshi And taking into account that the word "rapture" is not found in Scripture. It is derived from the Latin word "rapere", which means to be "transported from one place to another." It is a good word to describe the events of the "catching up."

I am only trying to understand the title of the book.

    What am I missing?

  • @ogunshi It's pretty self-explanetory- PRE-trib planning for a POST-trib rapture. Preparing for the rapture, which takes place at the END of it all, BEFORE it all begins to happen. Planning ahead of time for what we know is coming...

  • @YounaTuber if the rapture is as you say the END of it all. I can only assume that there is nothing afterwards. If there is nothing afterwards, What is the use for planning for survival after if there is no after?

I am finding this somewhat baffleing.

Still thank you for trying to explain this to me.

  • @ogunshi Because the final years before the end will not be life as we know it, today. It will be difficult, a tough struggle to survive. I explained it wrong above; it's not preparing for the "rapture", but rather preparing to go through the last few years leading up to that day. That day will be the beginning of a 1,00-year period of rest from the chaos of what the world is like today.

  • @ogunshi I'm sorry, if you're assuming all Christians belive in the rapture, you're completly wrong. I'm Missouri Synod Lutheran, and don't belive in the rapture at all. I actually find it kinda silly.

  • @armyboy1207 Thus I say again, this is why I am asking. We have Christians who believe in the rapture with biblical proof, we have Christians who don't believe in it. And people who believe that write boks like the one above.

I am just trying to understand what is going on. I am, or should I say WAS just trying to understnad things. Now I understand why the Christian church is having problems. Too many different stories and beliefs.

  • @ogunshi There is no biblical proof of the rapture taking place before the tribulation. Quite the opposite. We are warned to prepare, because we're told we WILL be here. Matt 13 wheat/tares parable- Jesus said this story was to explain the end times, and that the saved are to be left to to the end with the lost. That's explicitly clear. These pulpit parasites and their fairy tales are leading people down a very destructive path...

  • @ogunshi The word "Rapture" Does not appear in the Bible... the English version that is. Of course it wouldn't. The Bible was written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. "Rapture" comes from the Latin Word "Rapturo" or if spoken in first person would be "Rapiemur" which ultimately came from the Greek root word "Harpazo" meaning "Caught Up" or "A Great Snatching". The Great Tribulation is the final 7 years on Earth before the second coming of Christ. It is the 70th week of years that Daniel wrote of.

  • damn, I do not want to be filled with your ideas of the rapture, I wanted to see dehydating eggs.

  • @ogunshi perhaps they are leaving the food behind for people that did not prepare?

  • Your cool !!!

  • eggs coated in lard was a common means of shipping eggs in the 1800's. I remember reading it in a book I had years ago that was a 'how to' for those going west via wagon train.

  • Thumbs up for the cast iron skillet!

  • use organic raised lard to grease the frying pan. Lard has an almost indefinate shelf life, check out ironhead41's videos on lard, i think that's hwo

  • John Hagee? not my cup of tea, but that's okay. I am home late from work, ignore me.

  • John Hagee? not my cup of tea, but that's okay?

  • Will this work with Olive oil instead of butter or margarine

  • @EL90291 No. After much discussion below in the comments section, it's come to my noobie attention that no oils break down for dehydration. This is best done in a dry pan, or poured onto the special trays some dehydrators have for dehydrating liquids, such as scrambled eggs before cooking.

  • thank you for your vid.. I wouldnt of thought you could do this.. just one thing.."iodized salt" is a must.. look up why it was put into salt.. Its needed for your long term health iodine deficiency affects about two billion people and is the leading preventable cause of mental retardation. It also causes thyroid gland problems, including endemic goiter. In many countries, iodine deficiency is a major public health problem that can be cheaply addressed by iodization of salt

  • thank you for your vid.. I wouldnt of thought you could do this.. just one thing.."iodized salt" is a must.. look up why it was put into salt.. Its needed for your long term health

  • So far I have not been impressed with this video. a lot of reading that was not necessary. and the camera is bouncing all over the place. like the person in charge of it did not know what was being taped or did not care. Also if I wanted to store these eggs for baking. I would not want to put seasonings into them. So you might want to do two types. One with and one without.

  • hello, salmonella!

  • wow' didnt know this was possibule, thanks... and PS your a Doll : )

  • if you dehydrate raw eggs you would cook them before you eat them anyway so salmonella wouldn't be an issue. when we have an excess amount of eggs we beat them about 6 at a time and dehydrate them on the fruit leather tray of our dehydrator. you need to keep cracking the "egg leather" and mixing again until 110% dry. we then vacuum seal in a ball jar. we've been doing this for a while and haven't had a problem. similar to commercial eggs 1tsp powdered egg to 1tsp water = 1 egg

  • I don't know what I did wrong, but the eggs when rehydrated were hard and rubbery, so I put them in a blender to powder them, and still it was un egg like. Very disappointing and I don't know what went wrong.

  • I didnt read all the coments so maybe this was covered.... But, I believe the eggs should be cooked without oil or butter. (cooked in a non stick pan) The oils break down first and ruin the eggs. The lower the oil content, the longer they last. Secondly, take the dehydrated eggs and store vacume packed in a canning jar, makes it last even longer. (ruffly 5 years from what I have been told)

  • how long would this last without refrigeration?

  • @m4xx0ut: She said (if you read it) that the eggs will last up to 6 months if canned with an oxygen absorber and left at room temperature. Good luck!

  • Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Less movement of the camera and not so close up would be appreciated.

    Gabrielle

  • What a wonderful wife you must be :)

  • Great Video. Thanks for doing it. I do have 1 question though. How long do the eggs last in storage after dehydrating?

  • Bacteria can not survive without moisture. If one dehydrates wouldn't that in itself destroy any salmonella?

  • Hi there! I got these two vids on my external harddrive. I think you're an inspiration, for us and your daughters as well. Well done, Mom!

  • @goldenscales That's so cool! Thanks for sharing that with me. It's comments such as this that make me want to keep sharing the things I have learned in hopes of helping others, and in hopes of learning *from* others. Thanks!

  • that looks like margarine ma'am. and at 8:49 LOL

  • @lucasmorter Not sure who that comment was intended for, but I don't believe the rapture myth. But even if I did, killing myself is the most ridiculous option that's never crossed my mind, to date.

  • @YounaTuber whew i guess i mis understood. thought you said you were dehydrating eggs to be prepared for the rapture

  • @lucasmorter lol No worries. I'm still on my rocker. ;)

  • @YounaTuber Perhaps you might want to review whaat you said between 5:23 and 5:25

  • @AZStony What ever for??

  • @lucasmorter To help others understand....duh

  • @Back2Dixie you joined in the conversation way too late. i had already apologized and stated that i mis understood where she was coming from. why dont you go "back2dixie" like your name states you would like to do (how clever) and stay there. ha ha ha. and by the way, im not worried or scared if there is a hell, I AM GOING THERE!

  • @lucasmorter Im sure you are! Ill go to Dixie and you can go to Hell !!

  • @Back2Dixie ha ha ha

  • i don't use pepper in my eggs

  • Esnap: You can make scrambled eggs by adding water instead of milk. I do that when we run out of milk. Not quite as fluffy, but works fine, and if you're dehydrating them, might be a safer option or make it potentially last longer.

  • I love your videos :-) Got a dehydrator coming for Christmas!

  • @indipete Thanks!! That is so cool! We're doing a lot of hunting this deer season. Hoping to do some videos on processing meat, and then making jerky or traditional African biltong out of some of the venison. Thanks for the positive feedback, and be sure to let me know how your first experience with a dehydrator goes!! 8-)

  • I never put mik in scrambled eggs. just salt.

  • @esnap I do on occasion, but usually I add just a teaspoon of water to a single to make a scrambled egg sandwich. But salt and pepper have always been a must!

  • What I don't understand is why the few Christians left on earth, and very few in America, would have to go through the tribulation, when most of the Church of Jesus has already died. Jesus said the the gate and the way are narrow and few will enter. So many Americans think themselves saved, because they have made a "decision" for Christ or "accepting" Him in their hearts.Where does it say that in the bible?

  • "Dry It You'll Like it" is a great resource for dehydrating.

Get it soon, as it's going to go OP soon..

  • Hi, thanks for the video, I was looking up how to prepare food to take hiking. Guess I'll be prepared for the rapture too, which can't hurt

  • @pharmajoe990 rapture???? Are U a freak?One of those AofG ppl?

  • @tubewatcher314 I don't know what that means. I had never heard of the Rapture before watching this video, but I'm not very worried about it

  • @pharmajoe990 you shouldnt be. They think God (who is believed by many to love all), will come down and only take those who prepared like this, and preached, all their lives. They live in constant fear of hell. Little do they know they are creating their own by doing that :) Hooray! lol

  • @tubewatcher314 Sounds like a load of rubbish to me

  • God eggs need no garlic powder or seasoning salt.

  • Liming eggs is not pickling them..it is SEALING the shell.

  • Brown scrambled eggs? Yuck.

  • at about 8:47, did you say "looking pretty fucking good" lol, i just thought that was hilarious because you are a real woman, and beautiful to boot.

  • @jheetman !! No! I said "Looking pretty fluffy 'n good" F-bomb is not a word I tend to drop randomly in my videos, nor in front of the kids. But I had to listen twice before I remembered what I actually said. At first, I was like, "I actually SAID that?? Who hacked and edited this!" lol Thanks for pointing it out, and for the positive....feedback. And thanks for watching. :)

  • @YounaTuber now i can tell you said "fluffy n good", but it sure threw me off at first.

  • @jheetman lol :)

  • I'm amazed! I had no idea these space cowboys even thought of the stuff you read about! I had the idea that they were going on an impromptu flying lesson, no wings! You mean they actually think some of them might still be here when JC "may" put in an appearance?

  • no milk. If you want milk, wait until they are dehydrated the add a tsp or two of powdered milk. the milk raises the liquid content as well as it spoils more easily. I would also wait until after you are cooking the rehydrated eggs as a lot of seasonings change after they are cooked. Either the flavor or the texture.

  • I had no idea this could be done at home. THANK YOU!!! ;-)

  • @YounaTuber You have no right to censor someone. Check the 1st Amendment. As long as he doesn't continually harass you, or harm you, or steal your property he can say whatever he likes. What's wrong with pagans or their beliefs? Also, by adding your own comment and deleting his comments, you're not deleting evidence of his belief. You're basically just telling people to look at your evidence and not look at his/hers. That's not righteous in anyway.

  • @Cstrife234 That being said, I like the video. I'm sure you're a good person and you're allowed to disagree with paganism, but I don't think you really know anything about pagan beliefs. You seem to lump them into all one category. There are many different "pagan" beliefs. Many more than the Abrahamic faiths and their multitudes of denominations. I'd really like to know what the person said that offended you so much that you'd revoke his right to freedom of speech.

  • Cstrife- First, this is my channel, and deleting comments, *is* my right. I have EVERY right to censor foul language and offensive comments if I so choose. That's why the option is there. Second, this video is not about christian or pagan beliefs. That is a debate for another time and place, not here. To be offensive as he was was uncalled for. Lastly, I practiced the old pagan ways years ago. Several varieties. For several years. I'm actually quite familiar with them.

  • Civics lesson: A lot of people screech "freedom of speech" without a clue. If you actually READ the 1st Amendment, it deals with GOVERNMENT censorship. It does not mean you get to say whatever you want to whoever you want on whatever forum you want. YouTube and other internet entities ALL have the right to decide what is and is not acceptable speech as do their subscribers. They are not the government, and "freedom of speech" doesn't apply. You get to vote with your feet if you don't like it.

  • And by the way, thanks for the video. I didn't know how to do this, and appreciate the info.

  • @easystreet42 Ahaha! Great insight, my friend. Let me know how it goes! (the eggs) lol Thanks for your input, and thanks for watching!

  • @easystreet42 One detail I think you forgot to mention in your 'blurb', easystreet42, would be taking responsibility for the things you say and standing up for them. Many people claim their freedoms that they believe are undeniable... I say, "Nothing is free!" Stand up for what you say and protect your 'right' to say it. You'll find you have a lot more 'freedoms' than you knew you had.

  • @easystreet42 What does that have to do with making eggs, look man i respect your views but if it's not about storing food shut the hell up.

  • I want to thank you for your video. While I might agree with the Post Tribulation Rapture, I do believe that we will suffer before the rapture. That might not make sense, but I do feel we will be raptured before the worst of it, just not before we see the signs. It does say before the rapture, the world will suffer as unto birthing pains of a mother. Kind of reminds me of the Earth Quakes, Volcanoes, and disaster happening now. Or the oppression and hate non believers have towards us. Great vid.

  • Wow... I never knew this was possible! Thanks for posting!

  • Heard you on the DEMCAD show with Yankee Prepper. I figure I should know this stuff.

  • Good luck with the whole rapture thing. LOL

  • @ms9809 "Rapture thing"? if you're referring to that fairy tale of an event, sorry, I don't subscribe to that belief. Thanks for watching.

  • @YounaTuber Oh, I'm sorry. I must not have understood what you were saying. Good video :-)

  • @YounaTuber dryit.com ;)

  • @YounaTuber When you say that "you don't subscribe" to that fairy tale event. With all due respect, how do you know that?

  • @nld1960 That's a really simple answer. It's because the "Day of the Lord", as described in the Bible, says that the gathering of His people to Him and His return are one and the same event, hence, taking place on the same day. I can't argue with the Bible. So, when someone tells me otherwise, I just have to shake my head and move along, knowing I can't accept a man-made escape theory over scriptures.

  • @YounaTuber Thanks for your reply. With all due respect, you didn't answer my question.

"His people"-would that be "The Church", one and the same?

  • @nld1960 Ahh, I misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking why I thought the rapture was a "fairy-tale" event. My apologies. Yes, when I referred to "His people", I was referring to the body of Christ, sometimes referred to as the "true church", or, the believers who are still alive and remain.

  • @YounaTuber So what you are saying here is that the "Church", or the Body of Christ are only the believers who are alive and remain, not the millions of believers who have died?

  • @nld1960 The millions of believers who have died throughout the past are here too, just still in the ground. They are not in heaven, contrary to what most churches teach. There are many references to this all throughout the Scriptures. When the King returns, He will gather all believers to Him, those who died in Christ first, then those who are still alive and remain on earth at His coming, all, both dead and live constituting the "Bride".

  • Blimey! What happenned there? Excellent vid many thanks for posting, loving all the egg ideas, we have 3 hens they are futty as nuck :0))))

  • what if you drop one ?

  • 1) Thank you.

    2) milk acts as a binder. Using water instead would make fluffier eggs .

    3) All facts and oils eventually become rancid. I recommend a non-organic silicon spray like Pam to coat the pan just to prevent sticking.

    4) Vitamin C may help the color or possibly some nitrite since it interacts with protein. I've seen this done with fish eggs. Adding some yellow coloring may make them appear more appealing in the future - lool.

    You know how kids are.

    God Bless-

  • Wow, what an interesting video! Thank you! You have a new subscriber here :-) Have a lovely day, from me in the UK

  • Thanks! :)

  • i once got salmonella from a tainted pack of chocolate chip cookies.. miserable experience but I bet I lost over 20 lbs in a weeks time.. it really cleans you out. They should repackage salmonella as the new master cleanse

  • Thanks. I'll try it again. I think I used butter to cook it the last time, but not sure. If I did...duh? I know you said not to use anything. So my bad.

For me, finding the courage to eat "brown" colored eggs is one thing, but try serving it to your kids...It's complete CHAOS. It's as if the world just ended. Lol. Who said eggs supposed to be yellow anyway? I told them it's an illusion. They should be lucky it didn't turn GREEN!!

  • LOL hehe Good luck with it! :)

  • I agree with lifeflower...I hate Monsanto too, but relax this is only a demonstration and test video on how to dehydrate eggs. Shhhh...this is not a conspiracy and she's not trying to deceive anyone.

I tried doing mines, but it turned brown after a week or so. Why is that? I placed them in a canning jar with oxygen packets.

  • Thanks for your support. Apparently, it's needed. Wow. lol And yes, I am anti-FDA and Monsanto and Codex Al. and the rest of the agenda programs, however, as you said- this is just a test and a video to show I did it. And yes, I did it by dehydration. :) Thanks for watching!

  • Something I would try different is not crushing them to a powder afterwards, and do not use anything to cook them. NO oils or fats because those don't dehydrate. If you don't have a good nonstick, use the microwave. I found they took a really long time to dry. Maybe you could let them go longer next time? Let me know! :)

  • That is not dehydrating sister. AND.....tell the people the truth!!! That is not healthy food, "godly" food...that is a recipe to honor MONSANTO, THE ENEMY OF HUMANITY... but thxs for the idea and effort.

Dehydrating eggs: No, use all natural, organic clean healthy ingredients. The idea is good though. All the ingredients she is suggesting are garbage from Monsanto and pharma country, changing DNA stuff... cont

  • traitors/enemies of humanity.BUY ORGANIC: Support the good merchants who care about your help, godly people. Participate to beat Monsanto, enemy number one of humanity. Cheers.Blessings...

RELIGIONS DIVIDE THE TRUTH UNITES... blessings to all humanity.

  • Great video!!

Didn't know that I could also dry eggs.

I was wondering how long is the shelf life of the eggs.??

  • 6-12 months? One thing we have learned however, is if you cook them first before dehydrating them, as opposed to using a non-slotted tray and just dehydrated the uncooked, scrambled mix, is when they are done, do NOT crush them into a powder. LOL When they are reconstituted, they will be almost like a mashed potato consistency! Leave them in larger chucks, as they were, or just dehydrate them raw, then powder them when done. Easy, 6-12 months in freezer.

  • Oh cool I just typed in key words to learn to dehydrate eggs and here your vid is at the top. Awesome! Thank you

  • You bet!

  • that can't be butter. I use butter, and it doesn't come in a tub, and it isn't soft right out of the refrigerator. I think you are using margarine.

  • lol Yes, you are right. I never buy butter except during the holidays. Too bloody expensive. We just have a bad habit of saying "Pass the butter", or, "Can you grab me the butter out of the fridge, please" and we all know it's the tub of margarine we're referring to. My bad. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • You can also freeze eggs.. scramble the eggs, do not cook, do not season. Spray some ice cube trays down with non-stick spray; like PAM. Then pour uncooked scrambled eggs in to the ice cube trays. Freeze. Then pop out of trays and store in containers. Each egg cube is approximately 1 egg. This is how I get through winter when the chickens stop laying. Don't season the eggs 'cause you don't want make a cake with garlic eggs. Yuck! When you need eggs, just thaw and cook.

  • thanks for that. I would like to have some frozen for short term storage, and some powdered for long term. I have always heard eggs don't freeze well, but I think somewhere before, I also heard that minus the shell & the yolk broken, they do. I just want to be able to bake w/ them. Do you know if you can bake with powdered eggs that have been cooked before dehydrated?

  • using virgin coconut oil will not only improve the taste, it will also NOT turn into trans fats. Coconut oil is the only oil which will keep itself stable at high heat.

  • Hmmm. Very interesting, Did not know this! Thanks for the tip. And for watching!

  • I don't know about that. When Bill had diabetes, the nutritionist said no coconut oil at all in any of the recipes I had to prepare. We had to stay away from that oil and use olive oil, etc.

  • As I said in some of the comments below, next time we will not be cooking them at all, rather buying the non-slotted panels to go in the trays to do the eggs raw. If we cook them again to do this, we will not be using any oils or butter at all. Also, we will not crush the cooked chunks, once dehydrated, into a powder either! When reconstituted, it was like a pasty oatmeal, because we powdered it after cooking and drying. We learn by our mistakes though, eh? :)

  • I'd be interested in finding out why this nutritionist recommended this. I am positive you'd get different opinions from other "experts".

Coconut oil is excellent for stabilizing blood sugar levels.

Don't take his or my word for it...do your own research and talk to MANY other health practitioners.

    Peace

  • I didnt even know you could dehydrate eggs.. I dehydrate lots of stuff.. I have some sprouted wheat bread dehydrating right now... hehe... Oh and you gotta get an excalibur dehydrator... i have the 9 tray model it was a little expensive but well worth it...

  • What's for dinner? LOL

  • How long is a flight from Cali to Michigan? *grin*

  • not that this is a culinary class, but...water instead of dairy gives you a fluffier egg mixture and using olive oil is healthier, just thought I would share.

  • Thanks! I use water sometimes too, it's just that the night I made these, I had this little bit of milk in the bottom of the jug I was wanting to use up because it was a waste of space. And yes, I also agree with the olive oil being healthier! But I still will not use anything to cook the eggs with, next time. Just a non-stick pan. Thanks for your input!

  • I go to save-a-lot too. There's only one around here and its in the hood, but I don't care.

I don't like margarine, its like plastic, it never goes bad, but it is cheaper.

I wish they had more name brand stuff.

You can make beef jerky with that food dehydrator. Try doing pineapple and they taste like little candies.

You could probably make scrambled eggs and then freeze them, but then you would have keep them frozen :-(

  • Yeah. My thing is trying to get prepared for a low to no-power scenario. We'll have 300w of solar power with a decent battery bank, but that's it. I'm trying not to rely on anything that requires electricity for storage, be it fridge/freezer/cooler, etc... I like the sound of the pineapple idea. Mmmm. Thanks!

  • GREAT VIDEO,,, huzzzah

thanks for sharing, and don't use fats

  • LOL hehe So NOW you tell me.... :))
