u paid £250 for this i was thinkin bowt gettin 1 but got a better 1 i could get 1 of these brand new with a 80" screen for £180 from the shop or online
OMG YOU HAVE IT FUCKIN SET UP! you have no life, BUT I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOU AT 11:00 till 8:00am the next day!! i wish i were you T_T. i would use it with COD4!!! o-m-g imagin HALO 3!!! OH wait you just did! T_T
Tonytwotime... get one as long as you have a room large enough, a screen or wall to project it and a speaker setup with some punch. I picked the infocus in80. Its full 1080p and the image is almost flawless (slight rainbowing). Black levels are amazing, as is contrast and motion. The only thing I'd say is I'm rinsing the bulb so hard with films and gaming that i don't want to know how many hours i've burned on stupid stuff like guitar hero, wii golf and porn. infocus x10 is the same and cheaper
Give me some input guys. Ive been looking for sometime at infocus projectors, and need a little feedback from people who have them. are they actually high def? would you buy again?
All. Schfifty12 EXCELLNET upload. Thanks to your upload i thought ill do the same. Already got an xbox Elite. Bought an 2*2m fabric screen to get the picture on, and then i bought the Infocus78 (IN78) second hand. I have yesterday tested the whole setup in my 50m3 square garage with surround sound AND I IS SIMPLY PERFECT, i have gotten an huge screen to play on now :o)
It can be focussed to be any size you like. If you want a smal screen all you do is move it closer to the wall or use the zoom lense. If ou want it to be big the main problem is having aough distance from the wall. In this clip my projector is about 6-7 meters way from the wall. For a projector that is quite far, yo canget projectors that can give a big picture while still being close to the wall or projector screen.
For audio I have just plugged the audio cables from my xbox into an amp.
Sure, if you have a big enough wall then it is definitely worthwhile getting a projector. This is running at 480i and the quality is great. Obviously not as good as an LCD or Plasma HDTV but having a huge screen makes it a better experience. Not to mention it will be cheaper than buying anything else. Also you have to think about the lamp life. My lamp will last about 2000 hours which is a long time but it will cost £250 to buy a new one which is quie expensive.
can that projecter play movies too?
