kay, i need help to find a pop song. sung by a man and a woman (both fairly high-pitched voices, smooth, not raspy), string intro, late 80s maybe, the beginning of the refrain sounds something like "baaad mary go bad", or "faaast baby go fast", sung by the woman. the guy sings the verses and finishes off with something blah "looove" LOL help :D
In 1947 a young girl was lost and never seen again. Her parents called six cops to come and investigate. Only one game back alive and was dripping in blood and gore. The other 5 were never seen again. Now that you have read this, you will die the next day(tommarow you idiot!) Copy and paste this post in 3 other videos and you will live.
Today's duets ain't got the same soul and they don't make 'em like this anymore! I'm tired of the rapper/autotuned female crap so prevalant these days! Even songs like Jay Z & Alicia Keys' Empire State Of Mind isn't quite the same. These songs make you long for simpler times; the slower tempos compared to the fast stuff in recent duets shows how simpler of a time the '80s were.
@mattandmack Run DMC & Aerosmith's duet was released in 1986. Or was there some unwritten rule that a rap group couldn't team up with the band whose song they were using in their turntable DJing that the original poster didn't mention.
Clever editing on "Ebony and Ivory"--Wonder & McCartney actually filmed their segments separately. Kinda like Patti LaBelle and Michael McDonald for "On My Own," another great 80's duet.
I found this interesting, and I thought I'd share it. I read in a book that in 1978, just prior to her forming the Pretenders, Chrissie Hynde help discover UB40 while working as a music critic. Kinda makes sense that she and UB40 would do a duet when they were both established artists.
I love the 80's, some great duets there - AAron Neville & linda, Bowie & Jagger, Joe Cocker & jennifer, aretha & annie are some of my favs, pity they don't sing more duets now, harmonising is a skill. Thanks for posting.
Yes, I feel so Everyone seems to be. I don't remember much of the 80's because Iwas a little child but what I remember was good times. Good TV Programmes Such as "The A Team" and Street Hawk and The Misfit Of Science ( well Kind Of) Oh yes of caues Ghost Bustars Do you Remember?
Great picks! My fave was stop dragging my heart around. Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty. One good one would have been Leather and Lace Don Henley and Stevie Nicks
Nice work meliberty! A great era for the duets. Only one I can think of that didnt make the cut was the excellent duet "Baby Come To Me" by James Ingram & Patti Austin.

@feanor22: I think it's because it came from a jam session, and Bowie & Mercury never performed the song together after that session.
