Android didn't used paint markers which aren't really made for leather. After he put on his clear coat, the paint began to crack. Sometimes cracking can be prevented with non-leather paint by heat setting it and stretching the leather in between each layer. I painted an area and did some stretching in one section and it happens to be an area that hasn't cracked. If you want to be super safe, just get some leather paint. Angelus paint is like the worldly known leather paint.
