It's weird but if Light hadn't found the Death Note they could have been the best of friends forever. What with Light's smartness and wanting to become a detective, he would have met L eventually but under different circumstances and Light would actually like and admire L. i think that in episode 25(thats the episode when L dies im asuming) that when L's drying lights feet and giving him a massage just the look in light's face made e think that he was thinking:oh no w-what have i done i need to find rem and tell her not to kil ryuuzaki!!" but sadly it was tto late TxT anywayz thats just what i think was goin threw light's head at that particular moment cuz god when the creator of death note made that sean they were practically begging for some yaoi refrenses xD
