  • beautiful dog ..im envious..i lost mine a few years ago...she was 14..

  • if u think like it sounds like shi, shit, shit, shit, shit

  • sit, sit, sit, sit..../ lol

  • She wants to sit but the backpack feels weird. XD So adorable.

  • Shes a good dog!

  • sit x 20 but still standing hahaha nice doggy

  • Great temperament on that girl.....u should cut down on the sit commands though. :)

Just one or to will do fine.....you just need to back up the the verbal command with the hand signal or body language.

  • No I don't baby the dog. I'm firm. When I give a command I follow through with that and make sure the dog obeys.

This is an old video. She (ruby) listens very well even off the leash. This was just something new I was trying and i don't like the backpack training very much.

  • Suggestion: don't treat the dog like a baby human. It is not a "good baby"... it's a "good dog." If you continue to baby this dog it will not train well in the long run, it will increase her tendency to disobey because she knows you will just treat her as a baby instead of a dog.

  • in my opinion, and i'm not an expert but you should of corrected her right away, make sure she knows what the command means and if she does then she's understanding the command and refusing (or doesn't think your command is that important) to comply which is especially not good when dealing with dobermans. good luck

  • She looks like she wants to sit because she keeps backing it up..but for some reason it just doesnt feel the same..lol

  • lol ruby wasn't feelin the "sit" command that day, but awwwww she's so cute & pretty

  • Well Ruby really didn't like the back pack. But she got used to it pretty quick. I was using this for excersize.

But now I have a bike and she walks and runs next to me as I ride my bike. Its not easy to ride a bike and walk the dog unless they listen to you. She some times pulls but its not an issue because she listens well.

  • how long did it take you to get ur dog to get used to the back pack

cuss i wanna get her a back pack for her daily walks to make her tired faster.

    --- i have a female weimaraner (about 60 lbs)---

  • I just work with her alot. I don't want her running off and get hit by a car. So I make her do what I say right away. This will keep her safe.

  • How did you get her to listen so well?

  • SIT! Reminds me of the first time I went for a trail ride with my 3 year old horse, she walks through streams fine on her own but when i was on her she didnt want to walk across. Didnt know what to do with that extra weight. Nice dog, Im looking to get an Australian Kelpie.

  • i love dobbies. looking to get one!

  • You know I bought one for my male dob. He destroyed it in minutes just when I turned my head to get other things. He simply bite off the rop and ran free. Very naught. How did you manage to keep her calm?

  • Ruby the doberman listens to me.

I use a zapper collar to help get her to listen. I don't abuse the zapper collar and it has adjustable settings so I can give a light zap when I need to remind her whos boss.

  • you have a beautiful doberman.

  • dumb dog

  • YOUR THE DUMB AZZ

  • Well the back pack was about $50 bucks. It didnt' last 1 day before it started to rip apart. I ended up taking it back.

I got a shock collar and just train her with that so she can run free at the park. I usually take her to the schools foot ball and soccer fields to run. i feel sorry for the poor kiddies that steps on those big bommers that she lays some times (poo poo) .ahah.ah save the money the back pack didn't work.

  • Very nice back pack. Where did u get it n for how much? I am looking to get one for my Dob, she has too much energy n this will intensify the walk..

  • i love that doberman wooow lol i dunno if i should get a dober or a pit..

  • dobermans are more expensive. you can find pits all over in pounds.

both are great dogs. dobermans are not as agressive as pits. But both are not agressive if you train and socicalize them.

  • Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit SitSit Sit Sit Sit SIt Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit. Come on baby Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit.

Ok C9e don't have any control over our K-9

SIt Sit Sit Sit Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit sit Sit Som Morehold on Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Rube come on girl.... Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Sit Come on Ruby you can do it for the rich guy. Sit Sit Sit Ruby Sit"""" Sit Sit Sit..

  • well i'm not a rich guy thats for sure. and she wouldn't sit because this back pack made her uncomfortable, it was her first time wearing this back pack. i also had the back pack loaded up with cans of can food to weight it down.

so shes a good dog and listens well, without the back pack. ah.ha.h

  • Try shotgun shot. Maybe the cans were rubbing her ribs. Sorry I am not rich either. But you have more than me.

  • she is cute 5/5

  • lovely dog, whats the backpack for?

  • Um maybe to carry stuff. When I hike my dogs can carry their own water and food.
