Seeker your responses have been laughable. "He broke the rules, but it's still purging because people reported it" is basically what you've been saying throughout this exchange.
Of course I know he has a right to say all that he does, I'm not trying to censor him, and I'm certainly not obsessed with the rules.
I'm just sick of the endless stream of individuals who are claiming this is a conspiracy. All I've done is point out that his suspensions are legitmate, and not baseless purging.
He was not telling "ThePatrioticMaxim" so stay silent because of differing opinions.
It might have sounded like TBC was doing it since he was expessing criticism at the same time.
Youtube has a right to decide for themselves what content is appropiate on their site, TBC merely stated that if he has been banned then he was not allowed back. It was more of an addendum than anything else.
So, if an account is suspended it is because it has been flagged to death.
For example:
There are tons of anti-Bush, anti-conservative videos which do exactly what TBC is citing as 'breaking the Rules'...and yet those videos remain up, and the accounts stay active.
Holding up the YT 'Rules' as reason for someone's account being suspended, and using that as a way to declare 'Delusions of Conspiracy' is simply retreating behind the rules to cloak your actions of supressing someone's free speech.
And as I explained above, the 'Rules' are only enforced when someone has used the 'Rules' to punish someone.
1000's of accounts are breaking the 'Rules' all over YouTube.
But the fact that he broke the rules is still the reason he got suspended.
Youtube does not monitor videos, that is true.
But they don't go suspending people just because their videos were flagged - it's the same as reporting someone. They still have to break the rules to be suspended no matter how many times they are flagged.
YouTube would not have known about it, if people had not been engaging in punitive flagging efforts to silence some videos that they didn't agree with.
Like Hall Monitors in school, who would only tattle on the kids that they didn't like...but let their buddies have a pass.
Yes but he still broke the rules. You cannot know whether or not they were flagged because of differing opinions or because people actually wanted them down because of well.. breaking the rules!
You act as if being suspended from a site is some great offense against the freedom of speech just because the reason that the flag button was pressed might have been biased.
If your video gets flagged and you have not broken the rules - you do not get suspended.
Continued. The point of this video was to point out that there is infact no "youtube conspiracy" idiots can hit the flag button as much as they want because they disagree with your opinions - but it's still not a "conspiracy" unless youtube ignores watching the videos and deletes them just because they were flagged.
And I am uncapable of seeing your point if you refuse to be more specific.
If a large percentage of the youtube community hates obama then yes a rule-breaking support Obama video is going to go down faster than one that breaks the rules and spreads hate for Obama.
But using underhanded tactics to use the 'Rules' to silence someone's freedom of speech is always disturbing, and backfires really, because it reflects badly on the cause on whose behalf the action is being done.
It's been a hoot, Gambler.
But this is the last time I am replying to your replies, I just don't have the time.
Along came a black citizen of Kenyan African origins, a muslim, who had studied in an Islamic school in Indonesia.
His name is Obama.
All the people in the Arab & Islamic world & in Africa applauded this man. They welcomed him & prayed for him & for his success,& they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American Presidency.
omg, enough already. definitely won't be subscribing to this crap aka your dumb videos.

Hall-monitors are awesome.

I'm thinking that you were probably one of those 'Hall-monitors' in school, who spied on people and ratted them out to the Principle.
You seem obsessed with 'The Rules'.
You seem obsessed with ThePatrioticMaxim.
He has as much right as you do, to Freedom of Speech.

What do you think the purpose of Freedom of Speech is? The right to critizize the opinions' of others is just as important.
GamblerJustice 3 years ago
Exactly so.
You are right, GamblerJustice.
But...when someone endeavors to Silence those whose criticisms they disagree with, then what do you call that?

Sorry about that. To stay silent*

Ah...but YouTube doesn't police videos.
They only respond to 'flagging' complaints.
So, if an account is suspended it is because it has been flagged to death.

While an interesting reply, would you please elaborate as to why this is relevant?
My intention is not to be rude. I might've just missed something.
GamblerJustice 3 years ago
Relevant?
Because the premise of this video is flawed.
Holding up the YT 'Rules' as reason for someone's account being suspended, and using that as a way to declare 'Delusions of Conspiracy' is simply retreating behind the rules to cloak your actions of supressing someone's free speech.

GamblerJustice,
You keep making my point.
It's the repeated flagging action that alerts YouTube to some infraction in the 'Rules'.
Otherwise, YT wouldn't know that the 'Rules' had been broken, since they don't have time to police all the videos.
SeekerNLife 3 years ago
And I am uncapable of seeing your point if you refuse to be more specific.
If a large percentage of the youtube community hates obama then yes a rule-breaking support Obama video is going to go down faster than one that breaks the rules and spreads hate for Obama.

GamblerJustice 3 years ago
Specific?
I have been quite specific, actually.
And..."But why does this matter?"
It seems to matter a great deal...to You.
But using underhanded tactics to use the 'Rules' to silence someone's freedom of speech is always disturbing, and backfires really, because it reflects badly on the cause on whose behalf the action is being done.
