ahahahahaha i was watching at handel videos, and i read: CRAZY HANDEL??? crazy + handel + harpsichord? IT MUST TO BE ANDRES! hahahaha and for sure, THIS IS ANDRES hahahahaha
Nice Chap was Handel I am sure but too over the top for me and it sounds like a soprano DUDE singing can't remember their proper names dudes that sang ulta high but not my cup of tea .
excuse me for my ignorance, but i'd love to know the name of this piece. Could anyone tell me what's the name of this nice piece? It sounds purely baroque, magnificent and when i listen to it, immediately a baroque building comes to my imagination.
I think the loud singing actually makes a lot of sense (even though I don't understand Italian - Handel wrote operas in Italian in that part of his life.)
The loud pushy feisty women will often times interrupt the normal "music" of your life. So if you want to have a fun life you have to learn how to tame and conquer them (if they are beautiful) and how to simply avoid their mind games (if they are not). That's the message I get. The big orchestral passages just ooze "conquest".
Händel just wrote "harpsichord solo" in the score, without any music. Luckily there was William Babell to make a transcription of one of Händel's improvisations. Most contemporary harpsichordists play this version, or improvise further on it.
You can find the score on the Petrucci online music library ;)
Hey Siegfried, I just heard the Bergamasca! =) it's very nice! thank you for posting it !... (now our cellist keeps asking if you would perhaps send her the arrangement for cello! hehehe). Warmest regards from Sth America
\(^_^)/ HELLO EVERYONE! I uploaded this video of wild and crazy arrangements & imporvisations for the harpsichord recently, but can't tell if it's working properly. If it is indeed working, please tell me if you like it... personally I find it VERY interesting! =)
NOTE the balance in the recording is not that good, so you almost can't hear the harpsichord... >:( AS USUAL! SO PLEASE, MAX VOLUMEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
