LOL why you plant those thing on your house we call those trash on philippines those castor beans grew everywhere here in philippines and definitely cut them and throw to the garbage those are yucky!!!! if you grow cannabis or should i say marijuana in your house thats more i like it ahahaha

It is said this plant is not a Perenial in the New york area but,a neighbor has them growning in the same spot by the road each year .Are there exceptions? Or perhaps differnt types that do better in the north .

@EnGorDiaz then eat 3-4 caster beans and get your family to post your death cert on youtube which they won't be able to unless you a child, elderly or have preexisting health problems the only way 3-4 are going to kill a healthy adult is if you extract and purify the ricin then inject it. so many people are getting the LD50 for injection/inhalation and oral mixed up

caster beans don't make you that sick unless you eat alot of them i ate 20 i was really ill for a day next day i was shoving a whole pizza down my throat i did have diarrhea but that wasn't that bad

i'm going to try to start this indoors in late feburary and move outside in late april when there is no frost. so i was wondering how old these were and if they were ready to go outdoors or not.

that plant does nothing it's the seeds you need to start making it and it takes lots of batches to get a more pure form lol

@Dest085 yes, but my point was, its not that big of a deal to keep one as a garden plant or house plant, because its not like the bean is going to jump off the plant into your mouth, and if you do somehow ingest one, chances are, your not going to die.

Take a look at my video of my castor bean plants, I have been growing them for over 25 years. This one came from Hawaii, the leaves are all green, I have the red ones also.
