  • Can someone Pls tell me what kind of rock this is, many different colors in it and my detector gave a good signal over it, i sent it to analys but no answer from them :( , so anyone who might know what it is, Please let me know :D

  • it is an old meteor. That is why it is on the top soil. The original soil around it has washed away. Also, it is rounded off from exposure to flowing water. It must have landed a couple hundred thousand years ago.

  • where was it found in AU could even be a shrapnell part of Murchison which fell in Central Victoria in the 50/60 from what i remember

  • @ $10 US for a gram of the rarer meteorites ,that there is as good a find as a nice nugget , looks like either a stoney/iron(quite rare) or a a Achondrite meteor to me (not so rare) great find all the same ,if i found it dont think i could bring myself to sell it though

  • @henshooten its an LL6, worth about $2 gram..

  • @zaqqaz22 not in slices mate

  • hey check out my channel and see if you think what i found is a meteorite? It has a lot of metal in it and it won't rust? I grind-ed a small portion of it on the grinding wheel and it was solid! But this metal is so tough, nothing like i've ever seen before. It took me 5 mins on the wheel to even make an impression in the rock and the metal is unreal! Very cool CHECK OUT MY METEORITE

  • ALPHA METEORITES IS WORTH MORE THEN GOLD. WHAT YOU NEED TO LOOK FOR IS OPAL OR CRYSTAL LIKE SHINEON THE SURFACE OF THE SPACE ROCK. INSIDE IS WHERE THE SUPRISE LIES.

  • watch meteorite men on discovery...those things can be worth their weight in gold

  • let's be friends... first thing on our agenda as mates? you show me where you find all this cool stuff! lol nice find!

  • man this guy is cool is there anyway u would take me under your wing show me the outback :D?

  • that looks like adamantium its worth a lot of money.

  • Honestly ,if I kept every rock I found that looked the same as that one and it had a good signal I could sell them by the ton,its more than likely water worn iron stone,or to be more specific LEAVERITE leave it right there where you found it.LoL.

  • dude impressive hunting nice to find a space stone worth more than your house

  • Take it in your hand and smash yourself in the nose with it, if your nose just bleeds a few hours it's not a meteorite, BUT if you need reconstructive surgery on your face then your a Dumb ass and it's still not a meteorite. Thanks for posting.

  • @WiIdbiII what an asshole-

  • Incredible find! You should head to the Camel Donga strewnfield in the Nullarbor and do some hunting. Eucrites bring top dollar on the market!

  • great stuff, superb piece of meteorite.

  • that's a nice find!

  • OMG you can see an alien face on the side no joke

  • thats a piece of australian Hash, hes ripped out of his mind

  • well guys when meteorites hit they have an IMPACT which in turn will cause enough energy for it to get thrown far far away, its funny how people think so loosely and doubt, its not his fault all you negative people don't have the resources or time to find anything.

  • such a lump would make a large crater and won't be lying just on top tbh, i don't believe that's true :)

  • the thing sounds like a retarted person

  • What metals are in there.

I heard meteorites are filled with all kinds of exotic metals

  • @crocodile2006

It's more than likely made mostly of iron.

  • nice find man GRAZ!!!!!!

  • No kidding, those sell for thousands.

  • How can you tell it's extraterrestrial?

  • @thehealguy You not going to believe this but I did actaully find a Lamborgini Militaria (the cool all wheel drive Military Vehicle that they made in the 80's, the one Hummer ripped their design off.) It was 1:40 scale.. was down 6 inches, was sooooo pissed!!. ho ho..

  • I heard that there's a lot of gold in the Aust outback. And when I grow up I'm gonna search me some goldddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

  • @BUNNIEZHELL good idea..

  • Geez mate sorry but ur a bit of an idiot. If I was finding nuggets all over the place the last thing I would do is tell people! (your other videos). I'm from Alice so thanks. Have pretty good idea where to go.

  • @greg5372 sorry for blowing your cover dude..Have you noticed an influx of rabid prospectors in teh Alice yet??

  • "Its a piece of Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhssss"

    -Guy in video

  • iornore i find it all the time look like a meteorite but it isnt and it metalic so.... ya

  • my best find was a 100$ bill D:

  • coundlt a metorite be slightly radio activtive?

check out that shi with a geiger counter man!!

  • It's not a meteorite !!!!!!!!!!

  • @Alexsusik1976 oh yes it is!!!

  • Uhm, that could very well BE a meteorite but if it IS then its not in the area where it landed because even a meteorite that big would make a HUGE crater in the earth.

Personally, i don't think that is a meteorite.

  • @fantagejuilet oh no it wouldn't.. and yes it is..

  • @zaqqaz22 that would have busted a huge ass hole in the ground what you have there is iron ore

  • @zaqqaz22

    geologisted!

  • @fantagejuilet that's your holy wood induced conclusion. there are meteorites and asteroids. if that meteor hit a long time ago and then the spot it fell into was eroded away it could be a meteorite. either that or the guys a trickster. if you do some more research you'll find that many meteorites have been found laying on the ground or within inches of the surface. if the meteorite hits and sinks into the ground and the ground is eroded away over time then it's easy to understand how.

  • @fantagejuilet meteorites dont make huge holes, only meteors. People find them all of the time and they are very expensive.

  • @fantagejuilet It would NOT make a huge crater, stupid. Watch some other meteorite hunter vids, they're just laying on the ground like that. It has fusion crust and everything. It is most definitely a meteorite.

  • @fantagejuilet, yes sure, good to have your ideas, what do you think when this one landed ca 1 million years ago, ( what can be seen also on the rounded edges ) but it´s just my way to see it, no prove no rights to be right :)

  • @fantagejuilet small meteorites dont really make craters. They just sorta hit the ground. You get craters from meteroites that are 100+ meters in circumference.

  • @fantagejuilet chances are it is a fragment of a meteorite that ricocheted many miles from the original impact site to end up there.

  • @fantagejuilet are you serious do your study before making stupid comments like that

  • used my metal detector on the garden yesterday... found some sort of coin... washed it, polished it... see, it's a 1987 penny!

  • THERES PEOPLE WHO PAY LARGE FOR THOSE .....THAt one there is worth 30 grand

  • @TheFishingrulz I'll tell you what!!!, you can have it for $5000

  • @zaqqaz22 Deal! Let me go find my monopoly box in my shed.

  • is he taking a gigantic fart

  • meteorite has high levels of iridium! iridium is more expensive than gold!!!

  • how much can you get for a meteor?

  • @TheYazoo321 not much.

  • @zaqqaz22 Uhhh, bullshit. Thats worth a couple grand USD.

  • @TheYazoo321

finding a meteorite on the ground: $5000

watching a meteor in the sky: Priceless

  • @TheYazoo321

finding a meteorite on the ground: $5000

watching a meteor in the sky: Priceless

  • @TheYazoo321 A ton NASA is sellin 11k an ounce so zaqqaz22 is a lyir

  • @hi333333333333311233 dur?????

  • im told that they are really valuable as well ?

  • the last time i tried this, i got bite by a snake...

  • cant some meterorites cost more than gold?

  • what the fuck, i've seen these before where i go hiking at a creek.... looks exactly like it, and i even picked it up thinking wtf is this? Fuck me its worth money now i have to go hunt down that fucking thing....

  • Actually it's a 4kg lump of fossilised elephant shit

  • @joseph5815 I wish it was my friend, would be worth a "shit load" more. excuse the pun!!..

  • How can you tell its a meteorite and not just a hot rock?

  • i know what you meen i go out walk miles and nothing then sometimes you get lucky...not as lucky as you my biggest nugget is under 6 grams not bad but nothing compared to your stuff....how do you know thats a meteorite

  • "piece of mars.... something exotic worth a million bucks!" haha

  • Finding meteorites is dead rare! There have only been found around 6000.

  • Aren t meteorites radioactive? And that s probably not a meteorite by the way, look at this meteorites.wustl.edu/realities.htm

  • It s a dumb question,but aren t meteorites radioactive?

  • @branza27 yes that is a dumb question

  • @branza27 they say space dust has the same spectrograph, or heat sig as bacteria, so space is filled with germs and radioactive rocks called meteorites =P Actually i have no idea, google it.

  • @branza27 meteor man!

  • @branza27 no

  • lets hope u dont get like cancer or some weird thing that has never been on this earth and then u get at then we all get sick and die a very horibal death and then heaven will fill up and ppl will have to go to hell!!!!!!1

  • You'r straight awesome zaq =). Thx man. You'r great. How much do u believe that meteorite is worth?

  • cant you sell that for alot of money

  • are the places you search for gold public land?

  • it might be magnetite

  • how do you know if it is a meteor or not??

  • Imagine the thump and light that rock made when it hit the atmosphere.

  • fuck off doesn't mean go away it means fuck off.

  • how much is it

  • did you sell the meteorite?

  • did you ever sell the meteorite?

  • did you ever sell the meteorite?

  • did you ever sell the meteorite?

  • did you ever sell the meteorite?

  • @kolew. you mean to say that a gold nugget of the same size as that meteorite would be worth less? gold is up to $2000/oz now.

  • @theewtgy Gold is not 2000/oz

  • @theewtgy no its not idiot

  • @headells ok $1200+

  • awesome finding

  • zaqqaz22 You look for gold, then you find a meteorite... Whats next?! A Diamond?! I would like to see that.

  • Cool instrument you have there! What does it measures? Is it radio-active or something in that direction ?

  • r u relly ritch ????

  • Well Done...what kind of Metal detector were you using...???

  • sweet

  • thats huge

  • nice fined man,i found one put it in my garage.didn't know what it was ,forgot about it,till i was wathcing tv oneday.boom there i was.wow

  • still lookin

  • Great Find..............

  • you have the best luck ever. You dont even try to find something worth thousands of dollars and it is right on top of the dirt. That may be a fresh one that just collided into the earth because you can see the indent and even how it weighs alot and did not sink into the ground.

  • Watching these videoa is real deceptive, you any get to see the successes, not the days and days and days of nothing, digging junk, swatting fly's eating dirt.. trust me it aint that easy..

  • @zaqqaz22 Do you always have your camera with you rolling or just when you spot something that's when you roll? Seems like you have the greatest luck because of these footages, but yea we don't see the hours and hours of nothing.

  • not thousands, hundereds.

  • omg man great find,i would love to be u and find something that good

  • How come a snake has never taken a bite out of your ass in these videos?

  • Too fast for them dude!!

  • makes you wonder how many people are killed by meteorite every year

  • r u crazyyyyyyyy................

  • Now that is meteorite. look at the colors. they are red with a black smudge(burned from impact).

  • wow,...thats absolutely amazing,.. whats the name of that Detector?

  • bet it's something between a minelab sd2100 and gp4500

  • Meteorites can be worth big dollars too, but who buy's them ?

    Keep the vid's coming mate.

  • People that buy them are called Meteorite Collectors. They study textbooks on meteorites. They buy them for big bucks depending on the type of meteorite. I have a small collection. Universities and Museums also purchase them. This guy had a very, very lucky day. That rock is probably worth more then any nuggets he has ever found.

  • that other kid found 40g worth 4-5 hundred,thats 10x so 4-5 grand?

  • The value depends on a number of things. Like what type of meteorite it is. There are many types some extremely rare, like Lunar or Martian meteorites, examples include Zagami, (Martian) and NWA 482 (Lunar). An ordinary chondrite meteorite, or nickle-iron would be worth much less. Depending on type, it could be worth fifty cents a gram, or a thousand dollars a gram or anywhere in between. For an ordinary chondrite from 50 cents to $4.00 per gram. Perhaps more if other things come into play.

  • hey mate how much gold have u found so far??

  • Great find and video. You're right about treasure coming in many forms.

Much luck in the Future. Hope you keep posting videos.

    Thanks,

    R.

  • Where did you learn about spotting meteorites? parents?

How would I know you its one?

  • Some iron containing meteorites are worth quite a bit man... anywhere from 1 to 100 bucks a gram

  • Carbonaceous Chondrites are worth a lot more then most Nickle-Iron. Olivine-Diogenites probably even more. But Mars rocks like Zagami or Lunar like NWA 482? Jackpot !! If he has a Mars or Lunar meteorite, he could retire.

  • congratulations :D

  • how many ounces of gold have you found altogether

  • ummm.. dunno exactly.. but enough to make the effort worth while..

  • Very Nice Find! Gorgeous, Great job!

  • that's actually a piece of Swiss chocolate...very delicious.

What are you going to do with it? Door stop? Display it? Sell it on Ebay. I've seen others hunt for metorites also.

by the way I love all your videos especially your nugget videos. I live in the USA but would love to hunt for nuggets like you do on holiday. Peace and quiet mixed with a little bit of treasure...priceless.

  • currently a door stop.. good guess..

    Thanks for the feedback..

  • Nice
