There is one big problem with statistics. They always made up from failable human being who don't know the future. If you just look at one single number, that is mentioned in NIC, you will see the problem with such predictions. It states that in Africa there will be a depopulation due to AIDS. but if we look today, the african population has doubled. So far to statistics an their relialbility ;).
there's a difference between current real-world statistics and predictions of the future. statistics aren't a time machine...
