kkkkk you guys have got to know the roads in the interior of Brazil or even the tracks, oh yes this car would be used, for this circuit that there is even a beetle.
When will people learn that trying to off-road an independent suspension is a waste of time! I can take my Jeep XJ with 31s (soon to be 32s), 3.5" of lift, rear LSD, front locker, and beat the hell out of this whaling ship! Plus, any POS Taco, too! Give me a straight axle any day, period! Yes, the Dodge will pull more, but they tried to set it up for off-road, but it just ain't working!
I need a truck and i'm torn between the powerwagon and tacoma. i'd probably put 33s on tacoma and give a 3 inch lift. I do a lot of offroading so which should i buy???
@TheGreatWhiteTimmy totally different classes dude, the powerwagon is a 3/4 ton truck made for hauling and weighs a ton more than the tacoma. the tacoma will wheel way better than the powerwagon once it has lockers at least. and the price tag on a power wagon is gonna be a lot bigger
@ChristianJames6759 Rip 'em off. I've got 315/70R17 DuraTrac's for the snow. Spare fits with room. Other than the sidewall tread rubin on the lower fourlink bars they fit just fine.
Do I hear what sounds like an electric rad fan??? Just curious..
I have a 2000 Ram 2500 4x4 , 5.9 Gas. Dana 60 front and rear ( open).. Never touched the driveline other than fluid replacement and that thing has NEVER let me down or left me stranded.
umm....if you know anything about the power wagon it has a 4.59 rear axle ratio, which is insane. Compare that to a cummins with a 3.49 ratio and that means your hemi is putting down 1744.2 HP to the wheels, where the cummins puts down 1221.5 HP or 1435 with the 4.10. So basically if you were driving the power wagon it would be much...much more powerful then any cummins you could get in a dodge.
Plus who wants turbo lag in their offroad vehicle or any other diesel problems.
Piss poor example. Show me a Hemi stuck in ant PW breaking 1k HP and I'll provide you w/ tons of videos with 1k plus HP Cummins. Gear ratio is all the Power Wagon has going for it and Dodge is actually looking into trying to squeeze a Cummins into a PW, it's just the winch interfering with the IC and some other small stupid problems. BTW, a 1700hp Hemi would be unreal when it came to fuel mileage. Nice truck but w/o a doubt a Cummins would make that one hell of a truck..
@Williowa i happen to have a cummins powered ram. turbo lag doesn't really affect you on the trail. the extra wieght is the biggestdown fall of the diesel.if turbo lag is the biggest factor putting you off diesel, you may want to try one out instead.

Once again, major fail for Dodge. The Power Wagon would be untouchable with the Cummins, but Dodge just wouldn't do it. Oh well, that's why they're having trouble surviving even under foreign management.
Hmmm this truck has won the most awards since 2005, off road truck of the year 5 years in a row, the HEMI has loads of power dumbass the Cummins is great but is really fuckin heavy
No need to get hostile by calling me a dumbass, everybody is entitled to their own opinions. Some people say that the future of automotive engines is diesel. Oh and by the way, the 6.7L Cummins isn't much heavier than the Hemi, makes about as much horsepower, and loads more torque, oh, and with better fuel economy. The Hemi is a great, but I think the Cummins is better. But until Dodge starts putting stronger auto trannys in their trucks, they're still gonna have the same issues.
No you are a dumbass because of what you opened your mouth with last time. And once again you don't know what your talking about. The Cummins is a lot fuckin heavier than the HEMI, thats a fact. The extra weight on the front suspension isn't good for going over rocks and terrain. HEMI puts out wayyy wayy enough power anyways. Shit my old HEMIs from 02-08 are still kickin ass, full of torque. Never had a tranny problem with my Dodges, though Ive had many with my Fords, a couple with my GMs.
i agree why does everyone bag on dodge trannys? yeah theyre gonna go out if you pull 10000 pounds with it in overdrive i mean thats common sense we have a 96 1500 sport with a 5.9 and an auto tranny its pulled well over 10,000 pounds its whole life on our farm and its got 171,000 miles the motor still has great oil pressure plenty of power oh and that original tranny..is still there in one piece never been touched but fluid changed...mopar all the way buddy im with you
@hemipoweredsin Beacuse Dodge has shitty trannys. But, like the lottery, when you buy a truck or car its luck of the draw. You can get a shitty one or one with no problems. You have a 1 in 5 chance of getting a good vehicle.
@hemipoweredsin same with my ford every ones says your gonna blow your tanny haulen 10.000 with a f150 i have 300.000 never done any thing to the engine and tranny
@hemipoweredsin well dodge trucks do have bad transmissions, thats a fact. don't get me wrong im a huge fan of dodge trucks(i have 2 dodge trucks, both dually and 2007 and 2006. very reliable and seriously i don't think i would trust another truck with the stuff i haul.) but every great truck has a flaw. they're auto transmissions are a bit too small for towing and hauling.
@hemipoweredsin because our 2500 diesel has gone through 2 transmissions with no hauling, no hot rodding, and proper maintenance. First one was 200k old which I can understand, second gave out at 10k.
Plus chrysler transmissions REQUIRE a band re-tightening every 10k.
these Power Wagons go forever though, a friend has one 2005 with 250K of HARD hard miles and its still going strong, drives in the city and off road all the time.
In Brazil, is rare to see a Ram. They're so big, and the parking lots are made for popular cars. It's hard to park a Dodge Ram here. But it's a very nice pick-up, i drove one and it's very very strong. Everybody looks for you. kkkk, bry nice truck.
This video must have made by a suit... the driver has no idea what the heck he is doing... who cares what it looks like driving down a road. what a waist of 4:12 min. that i will never get back..
does anyone know if there will be a diesel available? i think if they made one, a lot of ppl who love those big lifted f250s might consider the dodge power wagon. would look cool lifted about 6inches or so!
