im not a huge fan of the newer norma jean, not bad but not quite as good as they used to be in my opinion, but this song is an exception. this song is flippin EPIC....i love the I AM RUIIIIIIIINNNNEED!!!!!!!!!!!! part lol
the anit mother is quite different from the other records, but the much I loved all the others, I would``t ask for another redeemer or aftermath. they expanded and experimented on this one, and in the end it worked because they changed and every living thing and therefore creative people have to change and I think it worked quite well here

Redeemer sucked and this is good but it's not somthing i'd listen to . This isn't even close to the old long heavy song tradition. The drums are boring and idk it's just too soft. NJ always was more of a chaotic band to me. i don't understand why they would do this
From what ive heard so far the big difference from this album and the last is the drums. The drums used to bring a lot of passion and drive the song. Now they just seem to coast a long with the song. It seems to me that norma jean chose this new drummer cause he was technically good (got his rudiments down) but as far as a passionate writer he may not be
It's been a tradition for them to have these kinda songs on each album. Which they broke on Redeemer. But does anybody else think this song should have picked back up and got heavy again before it ended? I mean both of their other ridiculously long songs (Pretty soon, I don't know what... and Disconnecktie) were in that format. Heaviness, long break with softness and then heaviness again and then ending. This song should have did that too. I am glad they brought this tradition back though.
i saw them and recorded them i have some footage of them on my youtube, but my phone was acting up so it was kinda crapy but i recorded talking to them for a little bit
Anyone else get goosebumps when the girl chorus started singing?

yeah it's different but at least it's not a complete change like slipknot did with volume 3 and all hope is gone at least norma jean keeps it real
