I prefer to use the corn oil. It's made from corn, that's been blended up into a pulp, mixed with water, then heated slightly or spun in a centerfuge until the layers split up, (most fluds do this, milk will if you warm it a bit and leave it out for a while.....or centerfuge it), the corn oil is the lowest/heaviest/densest layer, it makes good popcorn. Also the corn burns at 450 pops at 350, so hi heat until. pop then low
