  • PLEASE SUPPORT MY 30 YEAR FIGHT! Check my channel videos "my army verteran story parts 1-10.

  • Everyone has a different experience. Some good, some bad, and we know this is an imperfect system. That's why videos like this are important. It is up to us to create the awareness and change the system so that every veteran gets the help they deserve...the help they have earned.

  • I have been a patient of the VA for 20 years they have helped me in every way illnesses, getting into schools that that train me to earn my own way even with my SC disabilities. I get a check each month it helps, it is just to help when I go to the VAMC or the VA regional office, I sit back and hear both sides 98% are glad to have the VA. The other 2% are a bunch of %#!£@&$'s that even if you gave them what they wanted would fund something to complain about.

  • hi mike,

I'm a 30 year old vet and have been a vet for about 10 years and they have never helped me. They keep giving me to stupid doctors that would never be one in real life. And I've been in servier pain and they just keep adding problems I have but never do anything about it. I've been told they wouldn't give me meds to help me cause of my age. so the army broke me and now I have to live in pain. please contact me so I can do whatever I can to get this out there. Carrie the broken women

  • Where is our politicians which we have wrote and they do nothing. we have the government NPRC, VA losing our reocords and admit it then we are denied by the VA for compensation because there is no records. They are intentally losing records, so they do not have to give compensation. Right now I been wait 5 years because the NPRC lost and admits loosing my reocords, i have been denied from the VA and now I wait for the VA appeals board another 3 year wait. if your a women veteran you are scr8

  • I agree I think it is obvious that VA is a fraudulent organizations who lie to government over and over again to siphon taxpayers money, then makes money using our money,by poisoning our veterans.

  • What do you want the VA to hold your hand though life too? I am 50% disabled and filed accordingly with the help of the AMVETS. The system is flawed because there are so many veterans that are trying to get benefits that do not deserve them. It doesn't take a genius to figure out all the malingering happening with the VA. That type of behavior is why it makes it hard for some veterans to get the benefits they deserve from real injuries.

  • VA - I make

  • The VA was a better place years ago. Now the VA is a place where management gives themselves bonues every year for doing nothing. MILLIONS in bonues.

  • @Michaelbos I have worked for VA for 5 years and yes this is true. Bonuses and retro back pay. They loose many competent people due to their hiring/promotion practices. I am ready to go work somewhere else now. I love the vets I serve, it is the stupid managers. Folks should really check out the bonus thing. Should that not be transparent to the tax payer?

  • VA is a branch of Goverment I am a 100% Gulf Vet. VA doen't care. Can't even find a Dr. that cares. We are dusted under the rug. VA looks out for VA not the Vet.

  • The VA sucks, I have been fighting them for years and they stall, deny, minimize and otherwise do nothing. My records are complete and have what i cliam in writing, they still bullshit me around. I will win however if it takes me all my life .

  • I work for the VA and for the most part they do a good job, but is still just a government job to most. I work to help homeless vets. The problem with VA is that the upper level management tends not to be good. They hire/promote the most unqualified people and the worst part. it is bonuses driven for execs. That should be an issue brought to every congressman's mind. That needs to end.

  • The VA makes you feel un-proud to be a veteran, Corpus Christi is one of the worst!

  • Hi Matt,

I would like to talk to you about helping you spread the word on this.

Perhaps we can talk next week.

Please email me back so we can exchange info.

    Thanks,

    B

  • lets get some judges that have some sincerity. Shinseki has a lot to do.

  • The VA does not care about the veterans. I know, I'm still doing battle with the VA.

  • The VA is nothing more than one big jobs program for the people who work for it. A good portion of the people who work for it are more concerned for thier own careers and their own jobs than they ever are for the Military Veterans they're supposed to serve.

I refuse to go to the VA hospital here in New York (Northport VA) because the hatred for the Veterans is so palpable you can cut it with a knife. They treat all Veterans like welfare recipients. Everytime I go I come back angry...

  • The VA is very dangerous to a Veteran that doesn't know how they operate. Your life could be in danger taking their medicine.

  • In my experience, the VA has a culture of not giving a damn. You get shunted off to the side, sitting forever in a plastic chair on a dingy filthy old tile floor...most of the people you talk to at the VA don't even look you in the face...paint is peeling off the walls (Montrose, NY)...you wait weeks for an appointment...when the time comes the person is in their office fiddling with their computer while you sit there waiting...they cut you off when you try to say something...itsthe way they are

  • My buddy is a retired Marine with PTSD, they didn't help him out much but said he could apply for a home loan someday. Don't all military veterans get that? VA does have to do something about the PTSD.

  • this video is stupid. i served in iraq and the va did nothing but help me. i work for the va and we are helping tons and tons of vets. you have to claim for something you have and cant make it up. the va is getting better and better everyday.

  • Hence the point that we will be pointing out the good, bad and ugly. I'm very aware how the VA is working some areas but there are many other areas where it is flawed and has been for quite some time.

Be open minded and explore the possibility that there are areas that can be fixed.

  • Keep up the good work. The VA isn't the source of the problem. Write your congressmen and senators.... they are the ones who have taken promised benefits away ever since LBJ. Pay raises aren't enough. As it stands, I pay for my medical and I'm a 20 year retired vet. The VA is limited by funds and protocol. Let's tear up the red tape and take care of our soldiers and sailors.

  • Here's a story...The USAF files with Veterans Affairs a disability on the veteran at 100% in 1983 and he doesn't get anymoney till 2005 and when he did he only got five-years back pay because his attorney sold him out to avoid the huge lump sum due to him./

  • Anyway....Just want ya to know I have faith in what your doing and I believe in good people behind a worthy causes and thier power to make differences that can change lives. Happy New Year!

  • Well this is such a deserving cause to bring foccus to. It's awesome you guys are shinning this spotlight on an otherwise, forsaken platform shared by American men and women throughout the country . It's an admirable undertaking and the beginning of possibility to make a change for these people with a common struggle and story to tell. You're providing them a voice to be heard and setting into motion an important step in the right direction. You're on the road to the justice they deserve!

  • Well to be honest your troops do have a reputation of being ummm not very humble in attitude.. ruin it for the good ones.. also I noticed during active service that their is alot of seperation between blacks and whites, which really isnt a healthy attitude towards each other.. We dont have a large black population in my country but I found that really weird..

  • My Cousin was one who put a gun in his own mouth after two tours. One in Iraq, and the other in Afghanistan. He needed help, and was denied as well.

I'm happy to see this video made.

  • Sterling,

I wish it was that simple. However, we have a program in place that is fully funded by the government that is suppose to take care of people like myself. Canada has a health care system that isn't prudent for out Veterans coming back.

  • this is really moving. i never thought of this. someone should bring it up to the canidates. but how likely is it that someone will do something about it? it truely sucks

  • Vote Ron Paul!

    This shit will change!

  • somebody will probally try to shut you up. Sounds like good info, bring it on!

  • Vote Ron Paul ppl our only hope!

  • Vote Ron Paul!

This kind of bs would be a thing of the Past!

Something Is Very Wrong with Lady Liberty!

  • Tell your friend to move to Canada. Health care is free up here.

  • I'm definitely subscribing. Ready to see the next video.

  • Looking forward to the next video...
