  • It's 1.2 trillion, not billion.

  • You can watch porn on it?

  • The operations per second isn't a fake thing. That's just straight-up calculations. The Voodoo3 from 1999 could do 1 billion operations a second or something.

  • Wish these were sold in Australia...

  • Dude! Where the hell do people find this stuff?

  • @DEClMATOROMEGA Walmart

  • @Flyinglevel Seriously? Wow.

  • @DEClMATOROMEGA Yeah, thats where I got a prototype GCN controller, but I ended up throwing it out for some reason. Found out it was a prototype after I threw it away.

  • Great video! These are true treasures.

  • I remember someone trying to sale me one a long ass time ago

  • XBOX=pc smashed into a console.

    its true.

  • rofl @ harry potter. goblet of.......tofu xD

  • "All items presented are archived for future generations."

That's cute, but not even today's generation cares about that's now the past...at least mostly they don't.

  • Great idea = Buy the case alone and build a brand new gaming PC in it that CAN run crysis, bf3 and all that crap because there's actually enough room in there to run SLI xD

  • @huymitsumi why

  • @holysab7 it clearly states in the original comment, read b4 u ask

  • @huymitsumi I was just wondering why you would do that it's a fucken stupid idea

  • Incredible system. Despite looks are the same on all DevKits, I can guess this was probably the only DevKit that was as close as a PC, because of its components. Intel must have gotten a lot of respect by being the CPU provider for the XBOX...

Also, finally someone who cares about the original XBOX, that despite having creators and supporters who betrayed SEGA (WindowsCE, remember), it was one of the best consoles in the 128-bit war. And plus, it was better than the 360 ;)

  • @JackBandicootsBunker lo i olso care about the original xbox beacuase unlike 360 it was literally an XBOX>:D

  • Where the hell did you get all of this?

  • I know a green disc every one would love to get there hands on halo combat evolved

  • 12:27 it's green disc as in the color of the interface or even as in the logo color. Maybe that would be something to think about.

  • I just noticed Chopin playing in the background. Pretty classy!

  • Guys help me, got a green original xbox debug kit. How much is it worth?

  • what dose it do

  • Get a developer on this thing quick, maybe we can get a good emulator going

  • Hey Assembler, have you had any luck finding the 360 PowerMac weirdo kits?

  • @PhreQuencYViii Yes but they were all reflashed and useless.

  • @ASSEMblerEX That sucks...I know someone who came across one and same thing...it's like someone got ahold of it and went LOL FREE MACZ or something...One more question, are they literally just G5 towers with special software stuff, or are the insides different at all? Keep on rockin, I love these videos...

  • @ASSEMblerEX what do you mean?

  • so can u use the restore disk on any pc?

  • now learn C++ and DirectX so you can actually *USE* that thing to make an xbox game ^_^

  • How do you have this?

  • can you show some gameplay footage?

  • polygons are not problem if those are not textured, instructions are not problem if they aren't huge ones or graphic related, and sound is not problem if another two aren't that great.... even so Xbox was a pretty nice console :)

  • is it possible to dump the BIOS or is it Protected with a suicide battery?

  • so the xbox was originaly supossed to look like a pc made from spare parts from one.

  • @PortalJumper98 No. Development hardware is about development and not looks. All systems start as plain boxes and once refined become changed. Ps3 = black box, dreamcast = beige box, gamecube = grey box.

  • @dvongoetz1 you troll

  • fuck that has to be expensive

  • It's easy to build get motherboard of xbox put it in case daa

  • Wow where did you get this??? I have only heard rumours about this :)

  • Comment removed

  • It comforts me to know that someone still saves these kits and keeps them in great condition. Sometime in the future we'll be able to look back at these debug kits and say "that's where the xbox started". Thank you for preserving history

  • i'd like that for my pc. lol

  • Bill Gates dislikes this video.

  • @makifothebomb And Steve Ballmer.

  • @makifothebomb ha its funny cuz hes dead :P

  • 3:19 -- those are VGA + S-Video out ports. -_-; lol

  • is it possible to MAKE an xbox tower? :D just have the right motherboard, processor, videocard and flash the bios? :D

  • @Nikiz001 Google FrankenAlpha, someone has tried, but the hardware is hard as HELL to find, it even involves finding a video card as close as possible to whats in these and flashing it with the BIOS from the prototype non-existant video card in these things.

  • Truly awesome. Great video.

  • can you ever show us some of this stuff in action??

  • @SSC3034 Agreed

  • So does the video card use AGP for an interface?

I assume that it would work in any other PC.

  • I have the art work my dad was a developer

  • @ingloreusemodz do a video showing them to us yes do a video response

  • @segafan230 ok

  • How do you get all that stuff?? i wont one so bad :-(

  • any chance of uploading the ntsc versions of some of the racing games online?

  • Did you ever end up getting this working?

  • wow!!!

  • I'd imagine they call the betas 'Green' discs because it is a build which has been 'greenlit' as in given the go ahead for produciton, thus suitable for review.

  • Harry Potter and the Goblet of Tofu, ah yes. One of my favorites, right next to Prisoner of Avocado. Exceptional stuff here man, wow. I'm amazed at the amount of awesomeness you've got in your possession!

  • @saioke, actually not the xbox 360 development kits are exactly like regular 360s usally with a sidecard or not

  • I think it's fake but the green debug kit box looks pretty official.

  • The case looks like a modified version of the GlobalWin 802.

  • Fake... or? D:

  • @Nintellignc Nope it's the real 'Alpha' mccoy.

  • @hottentot Thanks for Answering my 1 Month old Comment./sarcasm

  • @Nintellignc YOU'RE WELCOME.

  • THAT IS COMPUTER WITH XBOX WRITTEN ON IT.

  • Comment removed

  • Ive got an xbox 1 hard drive you can take it if you want

  • Oh man, excellent choice for background music!

  • I was totally not expecting a Slot-1 board.

  • @alecjahn

I, truth be told, totally did when I saw the B/S/T thread where Assembler had bought this thing. Socket 370 came out as the XBox was more or less but they'd never use the latest and greatest when going for something needing stability.

  • @APE992 damn, I wasn't aware that socket was "that new". It has been awhile. Hah!

  • Alpha Dev hardware and Chopin. :D

  • how do you get all these dev kits?

  • OMG! it looks like a common PC

  • wow, thats probably pretty rare

  • this would greatly help in emulation of this system.. just a tip :)

  • 1 trillion 200 billion , or in Danish 1 bilion 200 miliarder. Whether it is correct from Microsoft or not, about the operations per second.

  • Can you do a unboxing of that debug kit?
