  • I loved the way you explained every thing. Your a great teacher, and I look foward to learning from you. Your the best, and when Im rich I will credit you. Thanks alot.

  • @Jestek100 I wish you much success!

  • :D You speak like Andrew Kramer :D

  • can u do this with premiere pro cs4

  • nice voice :>

  • It`s great! I hope I will make it too.....

  • You are a beast.

  • OH ok lol i get what u mean...

but to me he sounds like the character chris..

  • your voice is so lol

  • you sound like Brian of Family Guy lol cool

  • @SeansFallOutBoy

    wait... dont u mean chris/?

  • No Chirs and Brian either way there the same person.

  • @SeansFallOutBoy

    chris is the boy

    brian is the dog

  • Lol YES i know but the man who does the voice and creator of Family Guy is all Seth Green he does the voice of Brian, Peter and Stewie but no MY opinion is he sounds like Brian.

  • I think the Matrix Green is darker, but this is still cool.

  • Ctrl+K(Windows) Cmd+K (Mac) - go into the comp settings and chage fps there.

  • using cs4, can't find frame rate to change to 10

  • ...looks good if you want to make a light graffiti animation, that looks like made on PC, or if you are trying to teach somebydy some stuff with PS, but its pretty far from real light graffiti. Have you ever tried such animation? For example, I dont understand why is there that light reflection on ground. And mostly you can see "ghosts" from the people who are drawing.... ..but how I said, nice work If you dont mind these and other details...

  • is there a way you can do letters like this? to write a name or something?

  • yea

  • how come u dotn like start from da begining

  • its to lng for youtube, so he spilts them up

  • use corner pin instead of bezier warp. It's easier to do :p Also, experimenting with 32bpc could get cool results

  • what a version is it? 6.5?

  • if you make it once, can you recycle the effect and just change the mask? (ill try making this 2moro)

  • does it work in 5.5 after effects

  • it should. but it's been a while since i used 5.5. most of it should work.

  • Cool vid man!! Check out my After Effects Vids when ya get a Chance! and maybe subscribe if ya want to >:)

  • Very well done. I love a good easy to understand, not rushed tutorial.. I'll be buying your video in the future.

  • Top notch work... WAY beyond my level of experimentation at this point but ultimately useful when I finally get there! 5* :D

  • This guy sounds like howie mandell

  • does it give a video tutorial for after effects 7?

  • is there a way to download this software from a torrent or something?

  • lol

  • I must say, that was a great tutorial, very simple and informative. I have only ever used AE once or twice and I understood everything you were doing. If only we had you at my college! lol Thanks for the tutorial and look forward to seeing more.

    Cheers

  • this software look really hard to use but your instructons make it all easy and stuff...ur really bad ass...but i wanted to know how to make the same exact thing but with text so i can write my name instead on making a star...

  • In AE 7, select your text layer and choose Layer > Create Outlines. In AE CS3, this no longer works... Either choose Layer > Auto-Trace (not very precise) or you can copy and paste outlined text from Illustrator.

  • Very nice tutorial. Not to say that doing this in post is no good, but creating light painting-in camera (as was done in the Sprint Light Trail spot) is actually quite easy, all you need is a decent digital camera, ideally with a full manual mode so you can do long manual exposures, a tripod, flashlights (or other light sources) and a friend to help out.

  • woah, i'm impressed. did you upload as pre-encoded flv or just by uploading some high quality file?

  • just a Sorenson Squeeze compressed QuicTime MOV. In the future, I'll avoid MOV's because they come into you tube slightly out of A/V sync.

  • Dang, your on youtube now! Sweet!

    Ive learned TONS from you.

p.s. if you get a directors account the videooos can be over 10min. As long as they are under 100mb.

    Take Care.

  • been there, done that, not possible..

  • Im guessing your talking about video length. Your saying they cant be over 10 minutes?

  • yeah... everything up to 11:00 passes, 11:01 and up is rejected.

of course you can do the hex-edit hack (see my "Youtube Trick - 25 Minute Video"), but there is a huge trade-off between video quality and duration.

  • hey! i'm amazed at the quality of this video nowadays when youtube recompresses the FLV videos that get uploaded. How did you manage to get such a good and clear quality??? I'd really apreciate some tips. Cheers!

  • the quality is due to only one thing: Very little motion. The video holds together because the the pixels change so little over time. If I had a high-motion video, there isn't anything I could do here at YouTube to make the video look good.

YouTube using some pretty old technology in compressing it's video - Flash 7. As a result, most of the time, video here looks pretty cruddy.

  • thanks for the quick reply! and great tutorial by the way! ;)

    Cheers!
