Thanks to all of you, especially to you, Bates! Monday, I lost my "silver fox"... I've cried for 3 days. This man was my first love, and we used to drive to the country - Charlie Rich provided the music, Jack Daniels provided the whiskey, and we provided the love. Any way, I was really down, this lil bit has lifted my spirits. Thanks again.

omg! it's like i just walked into a room of old friends! My "silver fox" died mon.. 2/22/10- we used to go to the country, a bottle of wine (or 2) and get the blanket, listen to charlie rich and share our love.. it's all we needed.. God, I miss him already. Fate has kept us apart, now its sealed. Perhaps in the afterlife?

Whew - these love songs by Charlie really send me. I love this medley here - in fact, they bring back memories of when I lost someone right at the year this show was done. Who wouldn't like to have Charlie sing a very special love song to them all night long? His warm voice and his piano were always so personal in his performances. Singing right to his audience is unforgettable. A good looking silver fox for sure. Thank you for posting this great video. - Paula

Thanks for your devotion. I remember as a child. We had a record player that was broken. But as a 4 year old I would sit there and spin the turntable with my ear close to the needle so I could here Charlie sing. He was trula and inspiration to me! God Bless

I just had to post again - it seems that every time I watch this video I notice something I hadn't thought of before. He throws a kiss to his audience here and I've seen him do that on some others too . He just seems so down to earth. Each time I see him I wish today's singers would look a little more like they are putting their best foot forward in the way they dress. Charlie has always looked good.

Wow Dave - you have done it again with this fabulous video of Charlie singing more of my favorites of his. What a concert - one that all of his fans would love to have been there. I knew that Charlie had tried different music genres but he has always sounded wonderful through all of them. He did it his way and his music speaks for itself. He always looked wonderful and made any song he did his own.

I have this concert, it was recorded on the BBC in 1975. I enjoyed this so much, the only thing I would have changed would have been get rid of all those heads in the way lol! We can't have anything between us and Charlie! Naomi
