We rode on this train 10/13/08. It was OK but, most of the scenic areas along the route were blocked by trees! We were in the dome and did catch some nice views but, still would a better view once the leaves fall off the trees. Maybe if some tree huggers would give in a little and let them do some trimming along the route, it would be better.

How was the ride? I see so many mixed reviews, looks fun to me but don't want to go if it's a waste, any feed back??

I thought it was a good ride. The only complaint I had was the dome seating was pretty hot, but that's because the sun was beating down on it (greenhouse effect)

I believe the car itself was, but up in the dome it was a bit warmer
