  • Has anyone been to SAUDI? Tell me if you can bring a bible there! Then tell me of freedom and oppression. In China, you can find mosques, churches and temples. Tell me where can you find a church in Saudi?

  • Look into your own heart and then look into the heart of another

Because when you look deeply enough into the heart of another, what you will find is yourself

  • "Nice video. By the way, Formeu was paid to spread hatred and lies online. Her grandfathers are still alive and living well in Xinjiang."

  • hi i am from pakistan well being a pakistani i belive in one china and that xingjiang should be a part of china but being a muslim if muslims r being opressed by china then it should e to fight hard for independence , but i also have to admit one thing that all the opressiaon news i have heard came form wetren media and i havnot heard any such news on

  • pakistani news channels or any other asian networks so i dont know what r the facts but i will suggest if muslims in xingjiang r allowed by china to live there lives according to there islam they should have no problem living with china yes if they r not allowing them to practise religion they shoul struggel for independense

  • If the Uyghur Muslims weren't being oppressed, imprisoned, criminalised and massacred by the Chinese authorities there would be less support for an independence movement.

  • Is there any proof that their being oppressed? Last time when I went to Urumqi and some villages they were very happy with their lives and happy that their lives are improving. Also the Independence movement is strongly advocated and funded by Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda who told all the mulims to wage a jihad against the authorities.

  • Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International have plenty of evidence of oppression and persecution of the Uighurs in Xinjiang. As for links with 'Al Qaeda', that's just standard neo-con media spin. Check out reports at: hrw dot org, and Amnesty.

  • based on 'reports'? i grew up in xinjiang and all i saw is how Muslims set up bomb to kill chinese, how they murder chinese, stealing, killing, violation etc. .. come on, i can say whatever bullshit base on whatever reports. I bloody grew up in Xinjiang and i know those who create trouble are always Muslims.

  • The difference between you and an independent human rights organisation is that they're not biased. You're making negative generalisations about all Muslims which is biased stereotyping. Human rights organisations work on facts and evidence, and they also document abuses by the government/ state against other Chinese ethnicities.

  • well... it is indeed a tiny portion of people who are devoting their lives into independence...

  • terence - How do you know it's a "tiny portion"? Any stats?

  • 1-- Well, bombing chinese is bias? Come one, everyone if the world knows westerners are trying to convert any communist countries to democratic. They are all against China.

Human rights? Why dont u devote more time on helping afghan/Iraqi people who were killed, tortured by the Americans!!! How many have the Americans killed? How many are they still killing? They have completed destroyed some muslim countries and their people are saying China doesnt know human rights and tyrannizes muslims.

  • This isn't a discussion about Afghans and Iraqis, it's about Muslims in China. You're blaming all Muslims for the crimes of a few. If China and Communism are so great, what are you doing living in democratic Capitalist Australia? Sounds like hypocrisy. Many Muslims in Xinjiang have been severely oppressed and had their religion criminalised. Human rights organisations criticise the Chinese authorities not the people. We all know the Chinese ppl are virtually powerless against the government.

  • 2--How many muslims are there in Xinjiang compared to in Iraq/Afghan??? Open your eyes, look at the real problem!!!! Millions of people are in need of helping hands and you are here picking on chinese do some real work! at least xinjiang muslims live freely and helped largely by chinese's booming economy. what did other muslims in iraq/afghan get from the US?????? come on.......

  • what you talkin about little East Asian Disease,,? look at yourself frist,,most dirty ppl on earth,,not only ur home,,look at all around china town,,i belive, you are geration pigs,,look at urslef tonight, you like an insect ,or pigs,,?

  • Muslims are being oppressed in many parts of the world. Xinjiang is one of those places. In many cases Chinese Muslims don't live freely. They are persecuted by the state authorities, their religious practises are criminalised and peaceful demonstrations are violently crushed. Not all Chinese people are benefiting from China's so-called 'booming economy'. The US has nothing to do with Chinese authorities oppressing Muslims in Xinjiang. Try and stay on topic.

  • @oclandestin

Bullshit!!! Why a person from nowhere part of the world likes to spew lies on the internet? Do you have your feet

set on the land of China and knew any muslims currently living in China? Given a world map without city names can you identify which part of China has muslim population?

  • @oclandestin OPPRESSED, I do not think so. Try going to Saudi and see how and what is done to other religion!

  • there's no "east turkestan", no "uighuristan", but there's XINJIANG, CHINA.

throughout the centuries, many people colonized and devastated China. but now, China is united and strong! we will never let anyone divide us again, no matter how much they hope for it. Xinjiang belongs to China.

  • @ye1776, I agree. There has never been a East Turkistan or Tibetan nation. Xinjiang region has been a part of China even before the Tang dynasty(>1000yrs ago). And 'Free blah blah' is rediculous cz' ppl living in these regions are now having more freedom and prosperity than ever, thanks for PRC's booming economy and great policies on minority groups.

  • Um, there was no, is no, and never will be no "East Turkestan". Before Mao's army came to Xinjiang, the Nationalist Chinese controlled Xinjiang, and before that, the Chinese Qing dynasty controlled Xinjiang. The only "East Turkestan" that ever existed was a short-lived rebel regime established in Kashagr in the 1920's which was crushed by a Hui Chinese Muslim army after a mere 38 days.

  • To those who dream about "East Turkestan", why don't you go plant a bomb or something, instead of wet-dreaming on the internet, LOL.

  • china was occupied by many countries

but got them back (hong kong, macau,)

but now don't want to give back Tibet and Xinjiang and other autonoumos regions

but this just the time can solve this problem

  • saidta. Give back what? give back China to China.

  • people in Xinjiang are living in a much better life than their relatives in the middle east. at least there is no war in the province. there might be terrists like Ksquide, but good news is he is out of the country now.

  • Read some book, than telling you idiot, "Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region" is administrational term, in Chinese means 'new colony', therefore it isn't a logical term. East Turkestan is geographical opposed with Western Turkestan where located in Kazakhstan. Check some Wikipedia before you start lying.

  • whatever, even eastern Kazakhstan belongs to China, give our Almaty back or we will bomb you.

  • oh yes? in 19 century chinese were suffering slavery from Manchur Nomads, how come to claim a land form others? Besides, Russo-Kazakh were reciprocal relation, I beg you are one of stupid confusionist, good at self-consolation. Read some books, before you telling 'history' pigtail man.

  • Manchu are Chinese too. Actually even some of the Kazakh people are Chinese, about 2 million KZ living in Xinjiang. I guess you are right, Russia has stolen lots of land from us, but one day, we will get them back, including Outer Mongolia and eastern Kazkahstan.

  • haha, LMAO, YES ONE DAY --- IF ONE DAY THAT IS CHINA BEEN SEPARATED TO ITS ORIGINAL TERITORY,AND ITS COLONIES WILL GAIN INDEPENDENCE AGAIN,JUST HISTORY SHOWED US THE USSR,CHINA NOT TOOO FAR FROM THAT DAY. BUT ACCORING TO YOU A FACUKING QINA MAN WHO STILL BEEN SLAVE OF CCP,I THINK THAT YOU MAY TO FRIST THING IS TO FREE YOUSELF FROM YOUR STUPIT CHINESE MENTALITY,YOU FUCKING SOULLESS INSECTS.

  • Funny Borat joke

  • That place is officially called "Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region", not east turkestan. East Turkestan is a terrorist organization who set bombs on buses and trains in Urumqi.

  • read some book, than telling you idiote, "Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region" is adminstrational term, but not logical term,in chinese meaning 'new colony',therefore it isn't a logical term. East Turkestan is gographycall opposied with Western Turkestan where located in Kazakhstan. check some wipi before you start lying.

  • You are just communist that just reads and know those things that are told by your athority and no more, so you even do not know the real history and reality. Better you just see something having a simple jorney to the history and lands and ask some of your fathers who were settled to native land of uighurs.

  • coorections chinese occupied eastern turkistan in 1949by Mao China

  • nope, corrections,,, it is EASTERN TURKISTAN REPUBLIC!

  • people are people no matter what "ethnicity" they are. What a bunch of BS. So what if China or Martians control Xinjiang. Countries are immaginary anyway.

  • lol xingjiang is nice

  • how do u know that?

  • Nice video. By the way, Formeu was paid to spread hatred and lies online. Her grandfathers are still alive and living well in Xinjiang.

  • Its not Xijiang,Its Eastern Turkistan which is occupied by China in 1955.Both of my grandfathers were killed by the Chinese just like the other grandfathers and grandmothers.Since then Chinese government has been sending a lot of Han chinese (mostly criminals, prostitutes and farmers from the mainland)to that region to make everything hanlize and destroy the Uighur culture. That is why Uighurs see the Hanchinese as invaders.

  • I am still hopeful that Uighurs will gain their rights to decide their own fate.

i just dunt understand that why u think they have rights to decide their own fate. if it happens, i hope black ppl in the states could decide their own fate!!
