Also, you people have to realize that this is a "Purification Attack" not a "Offense Attack" and therefore the attack didn't phase Galaxia, because Galaxia doesn't have a Star Seed. She's basically an empty shell that Chaos is controlling, her spirit is slowing starting to deteriorate which is why Sailor Moon attack didn't purify her also.

Christ, the animation really went to shit in the fifth season. Look at Sailor Moon and how she is drawn in the first few seconds. Absolutely repulsive.

@MantasiaHater They're not seasons, they're series. Watch the first and second series, specifically one of the worst-drawn episodes that there are, you'll know what 'shit' really looks like. Stars was one of the best-drawn series of all Sailor Moon, keeping a pretty equal level of character design throughout its entire run (as opposed to previous ones, which often had episodes with really lousy drawings and animation).

@Dustie1984 Though I agree, Stars had a nice animation team it wasn't as good as SuperS. I honestly disliked that season, but it had the nicest animation

@orionpk No it dosent work because Galaxia is the strongest of the two....at least in the anime and if you look closely she is not really standing there. She is using the spell "Projected image".

@david052856 Sailor Moon wasn't using her full power when she performed that attack. She won the battle at the end, so I do believe Sailor Moon was the strongest.

@rainbowrabbit Ok......have you read the manga? I own it. It is clearly stated that the anime follows its own storyline because it was being developed the same time the Manga was being written.

Galaxia in the anime is the strongest in the galaxy as stated several times, and proved when she beats the hell out of Moon several times.

It was "stated" that Sailor Venus was moon princess before the truth came out. So you're not offering any factual evidence. It is never determined in the anime which of the 2 were stronger since Sailor Moon chose to heal Galaxia instead of fighting her.

@david052856 Yeah, Naoko clearly states that the anime doesn't stay as close to the manga. She even stated that the live-action stayed closer to the manga than the anime, but people always put it down because of how cheesy it looks. :/

@AB354257 I liked pgsm personally. I thought it was really good for a live action series and even made me cry in some parts of the series. Like when Sailor Venus dies for instance. People just hold to many high standards.

@yuckanoob Either the Starlights somehow destroyed Galaxia's ability to project a barrier when they wounded her or she used a trick in this scene because Sailor Moon's Silver Moon Crystal Power seemed much more effective in episode 199. Though it didn't work, it stunned Galaxia.

@yuckanoob because Sailor Galaxia doesn't have her own star seed anymore. If she did they maybe it would have worked. But she gave up her star seed (LIGHT OF HOPE), in order to save the galaxy. She used to be a good Sailor scout until Chaos took over her body.
