There are a lot of people getting hung up in a totally pointless Presley v Proby debate. It really doesn`t matter. Elvis had a great voice, Jim has a great voice. It really doesn`t matter. By the way, shame about the poor quality of the clip , but none the less Jim sings beautifully here.

Rolfrol1 I totally agree with everything you say. I have been involved in many youtube "discussions" because some people have said the most terrible things about P.J. which he does not deserve. I really should ignore these nasty people but sometimes cannot. To me Elvis & P.J. are both wonderful singers. Ron

8 o'clock in the morning, but it has all the Proby ingredients: wonderful timbre, incredible range, every note hit right on the head and that hint of "going over the top" that made him the greatest male vocalist ever. Glad he's still among us and delivering the goods.

A strange one this one. An interviewer who is totally uninterested in Proby and his music "galloping" through it all and a PJ who gets questions he doesn't want to get but smiles through it all, but NOT with ease.

Then of course a marvellous performance up to par with Elvis more overblown version (still good that one too!) and a pianist who...well he seems to like to experiment with different chordvoicings to say it in a kind way...

Anyway, PJ is always PJ even at 8 in the morning: The best!
