  • Oh, I see now - just three years, in fact. Still, this is a treat.

  • Ebert can talk?! Wikipedia told me he'd lost the ability after an operation.

Well, this changes everything. I've got ten years of his televised reviews to catch up on!

  • I always enjoy listening to these guys speak, whether I agree with them or not, but I think this is one of the best reviews Richard Roeper has ever given. Also, I loved the movie

  • @dry5555 He didn't say Fox News is just like McCharthyism, he said they won't like the movie, which makes sense. Fox News makes money by avoiding reality in their programs, by catering to the proponents of a corrupt social system. If they let the aweful truth of glaring social injustice, of the mockery we call our democracy or the destruction of our planet creep into their programs, people might actually start questioning the status quo. That can't happen in their world.

  • GEORGE CLOONEY'S DIRECTORIAL EFFORTS:

1> Confessions of Dangerous Mind: Very good, intense as well as funny. Sam Rockwell rocked in this movie.

2>Good Night, Good Luck: Excellent in homaging this period. Very theatrical, although a little stilted acting from actors. Still Excellent

3>Leatherheads: Not as good. More trying to be a Buster Keaton movie. Still well-directed, but not as interesting.

  • very engrossing movie- and classy, mature.... here's to Clooney-directed movie no. 3!
