Mexico's problem is having its players getting used to playing the European way. After Germany, you saw many Mexicans sign to European clubs (Pardo, Orsorio, Salcido, Bravo, Castillo to name a few) U.S.'s problem is reverse. They have players spread out Europe, but needs to grow the game here in the U.S., they're off to a good start with Generation Adidas (Project-40) with players like Adu, Edu, and Altidore. If both can inprove here, they will do well in international play. Just my $0.02

the mls and u.s. national team cannot be compared in the same level as the mexicos soccer. mexico plays with tecnique,short precise passing, well executed passing plays,looking to score,...well, the list is enless. as for american soccer,it lacks its own style. superliga was won by the mls. however its not a major tournament. the mls is still seeking help from mexican players as others from around the world and games dont sell out.mls as a long way to go. mls/us soccer games are predictable too.
