  • what is the purpose of having a track to Pyongyang? There are no cross border trains anyway

  • The Koreans want to unite. They beleive that Korea was divided in Yalta. The DMZ means nothing to North and South Koreans.

  • North Korea is not as bad as shown on our TV news.

  • Hey Moinansari , are you sure North Korea is not bad as shown on tv ? How about the starving North Korean people ? Hmmmmmm ?

  • tho we have no internet connection there yet we still live in peace but we all dont undestand why people keep talkin bad bout us and that really pissed my ass off.. -North Korean Lady but lives in !@#$ $omewhere else-

  • Thank you Flitcher ! I am not Korean ! I am a Chinese Canadian ! Thanks for your feedback !

  • They actually build entire potemkin villages to convince outsiders it's not that bad. I don't hate North Korea, I find it fascinating.

  • u're rite.news that you guys heard all were Fake tellin dat we been living like in hell, starving etc where you get that news from? we got enuff food that the US provides us (if it dont mean the US not providing us enuff food) we been given education, shelter for free. what more could we ask? there's no racism, political issues propaganda unlike the other places that i read in newspaper.

  • This train station was built by the South Koreans. The trains would have started. Then North Korea got declared a "rogue states" and a part of the Axis of Evil...things all fell apart.

  • Thanks , Moinansari ! I know they didn't use the train before , but are they using it again ? We are talking about the present times ! Are they bending the rule or not ?

  • There would be no refugees/defectors, they would be captured and/or shot trying to cross the (still) heavily armed and patrolled DMZ.

And, this station looks just like every other train station in South Korea, down to the ticket window and the lettering on the signs. And it looks nothing at all like the ones north of the DMZ.

  • The Train station is in South Korea. There is a lot of construction activity in the DMZ where almost all South Korean companies and many Chinese companies are building factories there. Pretty soon the North Korean economy will be tied to the rest of the world.

  • Hey Saipanrick , are you sure that refugees or defectors can't escape from North Korea even they can run along the train track ? lolololol !

  • There is no train (yet). This station is just for show at the moment. Even if you tried, there is no way to purchase a ticket from Seoul to Pyongyang unless you're a government official on an official mission.

  • Ive been there from the north side during a trip to north korea, and its not scary at all. in fact, norht korea is not at all what the west imagines.

  • What a short video ! Where's the train ?

  • There are no trains. But soon this could bea bustling station all hooked up to China and the Orient Express all the way to Europe.

  • Can u spot any North Korean refugees defecting here?

  • that looks like 1984.
