I think the Cuban is saying, "Damn that guy who said there would be a café here! Curses, curses, there's nothing but bush!" The aggressive little animal was a honey badger or ratel.. The Zambians say that when you follow a little bird called the honey-guide to a bee-hive in the bush, you must leave some honey out for the bird. If you don't do this, next time he will guide you to a hive that he has guided a ratel to, who will attack you.

There is a part when Mr. Stayn is changing his pants and a rhinno chases him; then he jumps on Ms Thompson and she freaks out and doesn't believe there was a rhinno.

You know the part when they both get out of the water and have to spend the night because the land rover stopped in the middle of the lake? Mr. Stayn tries to carry Ms Thompson but she falls into the water.
