The skirt is quite full and responsive --looks to be silk chiffon. Who made it for you ? It is very good for giving the dance an elegant and highly feminine style. I am happy to see costumes different from the average! Your style is very much like mine when dancing. I learned the dance in 1972 and taught it in San Diego all through the seventies. Few dancers show the grace that you do. We are kindred. My name is Anisa Gamal.

Hi Anisa (love the name), thanks for your apreciation, i am also sorry that the belly dance dresses are so far from my "imaginarium" of what belly dance should be.... sometimes i try to make something up, its always a challenge, and i would love to see bellydancing at the seventies, i imagine it would be gourgeos... i sometimes look for videos of that time... nowadays bellydancing is spread all over the world but many times without feelling... making belly dance loose some respect...
