Sorry, but you can't talk about 70s classic rock without talking about DAVID BOWIE or T-REX or ROXY MUSIC... but I liked the video, BTW.... and I love Pink Floyd and Talking Heads too
If the people that clicked dislike don't like any of these songs they are incapable of understanding good music. They should be banned from the planet earth.
Im guessing all you people out there are rock fans just like me, I have just opened a free online radio in which im going to play rock on everynight starting now, Im currently playing Led zepplin - Stairway to heaven, below is a link where you can listen, copy and paste it into your browser and make sure you replace the (dot) with an actual dot :)
i will also be playing bands such as ACDC/ IRON MAIDEN and more!
I Was Born In 1997 So Im Only 14 Which Means I Grew Up With Crap Music. Until 2002 When My Mom Bought Me AC/DC-Back In Black Cd And I Have Been In Absolute Love With Rock!
@NobodyYouWannaKnow19 so you think bands like the black keys, the strokes, arctic monkeys, avett brothers, portugal the man, wolfmother, muse, audioslave, cage the elephant, and red hot chili peppers are crap? I used to be like you and only listen to music from the 60s and 70s, but then i decided to open my mind a little bit and listen to the bands that are current today. i still think this music is great but ive moved on. give some of these bands a try and i guarantee you'll like at least one.
Where's Jesus Christ Superstar album? Even if your not into religion, that was one of the greatest 70's rock albums EVER! The score was phenomenal and highly influential on the sounds of 70's rock.
Last Eleven Songs: 1. Tumbling Dice 2. Roundabout 3. Aqua Lung 4. Paradise By The Dashboard Light 5. Highway To Hell 6. Taking Care Of Business 7. I Can't Get Enough Of Your Love 8. Psycho Killer 9. Iron Man 10. Long Time 11. Layla
First Ten Songs (Artists are on the video): 1. Stairway To Heaven 2. Won't Get Fooled Again 3. Go Your Own Way 4. Free Bird 5. Dream On 6. We Will Rock You 7. Born To Run 8. Riders On The Storm 9. Black Magic Woman 10. Comfortably Numb
i'm sorry, but i can name everyone of them songs. i find it not hard at all. and i didn't grow up in that era. i'm a 90's kid. i guess growin up on this music with my parents playin it all the time in the car pays off..
the only this that sucks is trying to figure out what these songs are called i mean i have heard them all and they are all great i just dont know alot of them haha
I wish i was around to hear this great music. But im stuck with this stupid ass bruno mars shit. Im proud to say i know every song here. Sad to say though, barley anyone at my school knows who Lynard Skynard
Police put on black uniforms to intimidate us. They have already given up on manipulating the people because they know people are waking up, but some people still don't know what the problem is. We need to arrest the bankers to get our country back. If you don't know what I'm talking about look up these words: "private Federal Reserve"
Ya I'm glad i grew up in the 60's 70's, born in 55. I did get to see Elvis in concert in Vegas in 1970, Led Zepplin a couple times, the Who, Bowie, Jefferson Airplane, Sly and the family Stone, Jethro Tull a couple times, Alice Cooper and even Sammy Davis Jr. My kids are all in their late 20's and like some of the old music too. Take care, be happy!
@sunsetbeach777 I saw Neil Young during his Time Fades Away concert and Deep Purple during their Made In Japan tour. I saw the Stones in the 70's too. I saw many other concerts too, but those were the best.
We are moving forward and with that good things happen. There is much less racism, sexism, gay people being given rights, why does everyone think it was so awesome growing up in the 70's. Yes I agree things were more innocent (in a way) and communication was done on a much more personal level, but i believe people are generally much more tolerant now of people different than themselves, is like the message ppl were trying to get across in the 70s has gotten closer and closer as the years go by.
as an black woman its weird for my friends to hear me sing free bird, but i have open some eyes, many rappers simply music from the 70s. So, most don't know that many of the raps songs they love came from this time. In fact when rap was about the Dj, many DJs, used rock reconds
@keg2 ill tell you what ticks me off, cruising around 10pm at night on a back road trying to enjoy this music, and some fick face, gets right up my arse because 40mph isnt good enough in a 35 zone. and rides my arse with his high beams for me to get out the way or go faster. what remedies this for me is slowing down gradually, until he attempts to shoot out around me, and i fire all 8 cyl. and all 4 barrels
l was a teenager in the 70s and 80s it was the best time ever. we walked we rode our bikes we skate boarded where ever. listened to the best music on tapes and records and life was so simply. it was great
The music of the 70s was great, l escaped to it on the radio and tv. Coming from a very poor family, mostly l hated the seventies and the neighbood l grew up in, most people trashy and aawful.
I'm just telling it how it was, and very pleased to do so.
what people forget is that alot of the artists and songs of the past are the gateways that musicians of today stem from. Even awesome bands from the 90's like stp, and metalica will tell you they grew up on one of these bands. Santana is still colaberating and poplular with present day musicians, like Chad croger. Sorry if I spelt his name wrong. But come on people, you might not like these guys, but some of your own favorite artist were inspired by these guys growing up. HAVE SOME RESPECT!!!!!!

@deakymaymercury71 I think thats very cool. I think variety is the spice of life. Its allways good to have an open mind about music. My daughters also know all thsi stuff to. I raised them to have variety. They are all grown and listen to it if they are in my car and enjoy listening to it with me and reminacing our paste.
@Skiddla Really? touch screen phones, computers, internet, fast food, air conditioning, video games, you think what we have sucks? We have it EASY and you should be grateful.
@extraplanetarysign What the raving fuk, not everyone had to fight in the vietnam war LOL,theres a war going on atm and not EVERYONE is fighting in it, maybe the person saying it is from a different country to USA
if someone wished they'd live then, then leave them be
no of course not but if you were a u.s citizen born between 1944-1950 they did a lottery in 1969 and if your birthday got called guess what you were heading to war.
@extraplanetarysign - Hmmm he is just referring to music and part of the technology age... or do you think these times are better with the golf war and all middle east conflicts, 9/11, recession, digital piracy, child pornography, pedophilians, etc...? Wow....
Wishing to grow up in a different era is foolish. There is a lot of bad music today, but there is also a lot of good music. You just have to look for it. These songs are beautiful but you can still enjoy them and thank the fact that your great grandfathers, grandfathers and in some cases fathers were drafted into the armies (they had no choice) whereas today you do. They did it so we dont have to. I'm not saying its not hard now but theres a lot of things we take for granted.
@extraplanetarysign you seem to do lots of chatter to try keeping a persons thought in their own "generation" but truth of the matter, as a young gear head myself, raised by my grandfather, i cruise around in his 84 mustang he gave me, stock 5.0 5spd. i listen to mid 70's-mid 80's music in that time machine simply to feel what it was like in that cars time, and i am near completing my 70 fastback mustang, and guess what? thats another time machine, nothing wrong with dreaming.
good selection but saw no cooper or foghat 2 bands that made a huge impact in the 70's rock.. thanks for this it was a blast from the past... :) .............. ok schools out...lol
@blacklime9932 Stairway to Heaven-Led Zeppelin Won't get Fooled again-The Who Go Your Own Way-Fleetwood Mac Dream On-Aerosmith We Will Rock You-Queen Born To Run-Bruce Springsteen Riders of the Storm-Doors Black Magic Woman-Santana Comfortably Numb-Pinl Floyd Tumbling Dice Roundabout Aqualung Paradise by the Dashboard Light Highway to Hell Taking care of Business Can't get enough of your love Psyco Killer Iron Man Foreplay/Long Time-Boston Layla-Derek/Dominos
@deakymaymercury71 Honey, I don`t wanna be hard with you. But, do you expect a price or something? Really. I don`t understand this people who saids "oh I am 15 and I like this music and no Bieber".
Good for you. You aren`t a better person.
Now, keep listering good music and eat all your vegetables.
I'm 17 and I envy everyone who was a teenager in the 70's/80's. It was a simpler time with no technology to interrupt the social balance of people. Nowadays kids my age are socially awkward because they are sitting behind a computer screen. Its only going to get worse from here. If you are in your 40s for 50s be thankful you were able to grow up when you did. I sure as hell wish I would have been born 40 years ago.
@crackedglassmotha You may be setting an example of your generation if you make a point to stand up for your right to be personal, in faces and direct. I'm 21 and I have that same issue sometimes because I'm sick of the lack of intimacy; people set up dates via text, insult through facebook. The only exception I find to this rule of exiling technological discussion is finding a common ground with those in society. (ie. this response) You're right on spot and for sure not alone.

Just the tip of the iceberg from the 70's, as this is an era of collective musical genius that shall never be repeated...
