Rights, don't worry, all graphics cards are totally backwards compatible through the DirectXs, otherwise Windows XP users would be screwed. :P

Although, I'm sure they released a fix for DX10 on XP now.

thanks for all the comments y'all,definetly go with the 4890 over the X2...so many driver problems and im gonna assume you play at 1680x1050,just make sure your CPU and GPU can handle and pump performance..

The Gigabyte UD4P is a great board. But i might recommend checking newegg. They have had the ASUS M4A79T Deluxe Open box for 135 (5 less than the cheaper Giga) Cause idiots buy it and try to fit AM2+ CPU in it and return it. And atm its the highest quality AM3 board on the market.
