Pretty good video, but when you consider the fact that they knew each other for all of a couple of hours and then fought over something as petty as useless vendor trash, the video unfortunately loses what makes it good.

lol I've leveled with someone from 1 to 70 and we became best friends we ninja'd chests all of the time and it was still no big deal we actually met outside in real life.

We did not use a private server. Our characters are hosted on the US Eredar server, though we did roll a couple newbies on another server for the low-level scenes. Any seemingly "impossible" scenes to film were done with WoW Model Viewer and After Effects.

One day they disappeared, one came back momentarily and went off again, though. Brings back such memories, now as a 70 raider I feel nothing like back then...
Strong message, it made me miss the time where you meet your friends, the low levels - the time where you quest together and fool around. The higher you get, the more boring it can become, anyways - abselutely one of the best WoW Machinimas ever - it will pass on into the Hall of Fame.

I always find myself looking for this movie whenever I hear the song. Thanks to both this movie and Baron Soosdons', i've brought the album from The Ataris containing these songs. Thanks for introducing to me an amazing album and artist. Five star.
One of the good things about this video, among others, is that what's going on in the movie follows the song. It doesn't always match the lyrics, but I'll be damned if I don't prefer this over someone trying to get a night elf to lip-synch the words or someone trying to match the video exactly with the lyrics.

This really inspried me to have friends, i leveled up to 70 with full merciless, but no one would talk to me ever and i had no guild, but then i had someone talk to me for like the first time for a good time, and they became my friend and now i have tons ;)
Specially when the night elf breaks the game interface, probably to symbolize the game has absolutely no importance if you don't have friends.
When people mock others for asking things, answer "thottbot", "wowhead" or "read the game manual" makes me sad. This is already an online game. Don't walk too far from your humanity or you may never get it back again.
This is inspirational 100%! Some guy on my server was Lvl 70 and had great gear, but was never happy. So he left. I was his friend for a few months and he told me having friends was the greatest thing he ever had.

kinda remind me of me.. i got to 70 and got full epic.. had no friends and no guild. then i deleted my char and began on my old server to get aback to my old friends.. just geting a "gz" each i leveled where more than getting to 70 and get full epic..
I have to say, after about 42 minutes of jumbling through youtube videos just to find this, I don't regret a minute of it. There are a few machinima videos I love almost to the point of worship, and without a doubt, this is one of them. Amazing work, thankyou for sharing it with us. 5/5

Friendship can be legendary. is a very true statment, you can have all of this epic gear and what not. but with out Friends it makes the not as fun. with out Friends your nothing really. people let the epics go to there heads and think thats all the game is about. this has been the best WoW video i ever seen. with a very good message in it. had a tear come to my eye on how true it really is. I don't think this video is about PvE or PvP at all, it's more like a story, the Heirloom signet of *willpower*, mark willpower.. He was trapped behind a frame of mind, a player controlled his moves, and the player was deleting all his stuff to probably delete the character, that's when he broke loose of the possession and he went to save his old friend.. that's my idea of the movie anyway :P
Actually the movie is about how we get cuaght up with epic items and stuff and dont realise the friends we have and that friendship, as he says on the site items can be epic but friendship is legendary
Just to clear the air... Sedrin is not wearing hunter gear in Outlands. His priest is now level 68 and he is completely decked out in cloth (yes, chest and shoulderpieces too). Feel free to Armory (Sedrin/Eredar) if you don't believe me.
For the record, to do the lowbie footage, we rolled clones on another server. The ninja-ed chest scene was our high level characters wearing low-level gear (and me with a low level pet).
To make it plain, in the video, I assume the pieces you are mistaking for mail/leather are the shoulders and the helm, which are "Mantle of Magical Might" and "Helm of Lupine Cunning" respectively.

One of the good things about this video, among others, is that what's going on in the movie follows the song. It doesn't always match the lyrics, but I'll be damned if I don't prefer this over someone trying to get a night elf to lip-synch the words or someone trying to match the video exactly with the lyrics.

Heh benn playing wow with my friends for the whole 3 years and i got to say this vid makes me happy to know there are other people who value their buds more then their gear. i can never get what make a person go all /gquit, ninja looter,hacker jerkoff over some gear or stuff. game does some crazy stuff to some people, but this vid gives me hope that people can see the light.

I nearly cried the first time I saw this video. The second and third times I did. It's just so beautiful; the story is all about how people get caught up in WoW's silly loot system and forget what's really important: Their friends.

This really inspried me to have friends, i leveled up to 70 with full merciless, but no one would talk to me ever and i had no guild, but then i had someone talk to me for like the first time for a good time, and they became my friend and now i have tons ;)

This video is just perfect, its message.
Specially when the night elf breaks the game interface, probably to symbolize the game has absolutely no importance if you don't have friends.
When people mock others for asking things, answer "thottbot", "wowhead" or "read the game manual" makes me sad. This is already an online game. Don't walk too far from your humanity or you may never get it back again.

This is inspirational 100%! Some guy on my server was Lvl 70 and had great gear, but was never happy. So he left. I was his friend for a few months and he told me having friends was the greatest thing he ever had.

kinda remind me of me.. i got to 70 and got full epic.. had no friends and no guild. then i deleted my char and began on my old server to get aback to my old friends.. just geting a "gz" each i leveled where more than getting to 70 and get full epic..

Gear can be epic. Friendship can be legendary. is a very true statment, you can have all of this epic gear and what not. but with out Friends it makes the not as fun. with out Friends your nothing really. people let the epics go to there heads and think thats all the game is about. this has been the best WoW video i ever seen. with a very good message in it. had a tear come to my eye on how true it really is. Very good job slashdance. ^_^

I don't think this video is about PvE or PvP at all, it's more like a story, the Heirloom signet of *willpower*, mark willpower.. He was trapped behind a frame of mind, a player controlled his moves, and the player was deleting all his stuff to probably delete the character, that's when he broke loose of the possession and he went to save his old friend.. that's my idea of the movie anyway :P

Sedrin is/was shadow for levelling and the "Heirloom Signet of Willpower" has +dmg on it.
But it is true that he had something new at the time of filming, so it didn't hurt much to actually destroy it. :P

Just to clear the air... Sedrin is not wearing hunter gear in Outlands. His priest is now level 68 and he is completely decked out in cloth (yes, chest and shoulderpieces too). Feel free to Armory (Sedrin/Eredar) if you don't believe me.
For the record, to do the lowbie footage, we rolled clones on another server. The ninja-ed chest scene was our high level characters wearing low-level gear (and me with a low level pet).

To make it plain, in the video, I assume the pieces you are mistaking for mail/leather are the shoulders and the helm, which are "Mantle of Magical Might" and "Helm of Lupine Cunning" respectively.
