They wanted to get revenge on Derek after he had them both tied up in Peyton's basement on prom night, but after he went too far after having special plans for Peyton, they did their Michael Myers/Jason act on him as he's flying down the stairs. so they got revenge by seeing him in the psycho ward in the North Carolina state pen, to get him emotionally dependent on his two former captives right before they split and abandoned him.

I know. It sucks! I loved Baleys friendship, they always stood by each others side and helped each other out when ever they needed help etc.. I miss them.
After everything they've been through...these Breyton scenes make me rethink who is my favorite OTH friendship Breyton or Laley...but this episode made Breyton my favorite friendship!(Laley and Paley are there too...as my very close..but second favorites)
Breyton are so amazing and adorable and humble and sweet.....I love them!!!!...I am going to need a handful of tissues when they say there goodbyes in the finale(I am going to need it for the next(and last) 2 episodes! Breyton and Leyton 4EVER

i LOVE Sophia Bush she's such an amazing actress and Brooke Davis is by far the best character ever.
