  • Great to hear Tim's outstanding Bass again. Hope there will be no problem in getting his recordings, et al in the very near future. Ernie Austin

  • I Can't Quit Listening To This Song. Really Great Song

  • anyone got the lyrics to this song?

  • the BEST!!

  • i met his last night at a brian free and assurance concert. in nashville

  • tim duncan gets better and better, I love his singing.

  • Love Timmy Duncan, I am a big fan. It's a treat to hear him do this song. I also like Ian Owen, and think he has great potential, but will miss Tim for a long time to come. Hope he comes back on the gospel music scene bigger and better than ever!

  • I never knew Tim Duncan had a mini stroke. How old was he? I just think he has so much personality in his singing. Thank you for sharing! God Bless You,

    Gwen Weaver

  • Really nice edge to his voice.

  • Love it!!! and btw i love what you've done with the bass booster. It makes the lower notes more noticeable!

  • @chipojo2008

I agree which is why I did it. Glad you liked the video. Tim is a very good bass that I don't think was featured enough while he was with Signature Sound. Poet Voices featured him singing low a lot. Maybe I will do a Tim Duncans lowest notes video from his Poet Voices days.

  • @thebassmanadam Sure thing friend, i'll be looking forward to that video. It just sucks he left. but he sure did left HUGE shoes to fill which i think the new guy hasnt really been close to fill.

  • @thebassmanadam I was going to say, Why didn't he sing more like that when he was with ernie? He can do it and do it well, so why not?

  • @hondarideralex

i wish I knew why. He was not featured like he should of been! Maybe only a handful of times did he it a low note but they were not consistent like when he was with poet voices. Ernie Haas to me dropped the ball with Tim Duncan!

  • @thebassmanadam as a fellow bass singer, i think we all have our good and bad days. this was probably a really good day for him. i think his mini-stroke might have set him back a little bit. but he seemed to be letting it all hang out while they were doing the cathedrals project

  • @hondarideralex

No doubt about it. Sometimes i can get a good G#1 then other days I can't get within an octave of it.

Mini stroke? are you serious? When did that happen? I never heard of that!

I can see where a stroke could do that, Danny Funderburk one of the Cathedrals best tenors suffered several strokes and it set him back vocally but Tim....Dang, I never knew that about him!

  • @thebassmanadam another thing that could have been transposing the tunes up a bit so ernie could be in his good range. if you listen to EHSS, the whole quartet sounds higher than a quartet like gold city.

  • @hondarideralex

Good point and that's certainly possible. after all the group is called"Ernie Haas and signature sound" Kinda like, JD Sumner and The stamps. a lot of his songs were pitched lower than most quartets so he could sing in his good range although he didn't do it all the time because he had an exceptional upper register for a singer so low.
