Is it possible to copy the DLL file out of the FL Studio folder and insert it into the vST folder So I can use it in Ableton. I tried and it wont work... any suggestions would be great :0
@newechoproductions thanks for answering but that's not it. I had to readjust the release knob. Lol. Now all I need to do is figure out how to make it loop for more than four bars while automating.
I would argue that Gross Beat has it's own merits in the form of it's step editing mode. Lets say you'd like to use a gate on a single long sample that pitch shifted from a low frequency to higher one. In FL Studio you'd have to create an automation clip to represent the gate at the lower freq. and then move a knob to represent the gate at the higher frequency. In a situation like that, Gross Beat might be easier to use. Especially if swung, since FL doesn't play nice with downbeat.
guys this is some niiiice sh*t, get fl9 and throw the Grossbeat on some percussion, i've only tried hihats so far because of the unlimited possibilities and it was already like INSAAAANE go get it bitches
I ran a song i created through this. It sounds so much more badass. I has some trouble where it would get stuck on one part of my song but eventually I got it to work out and now I'm left with a great imo beat. i got half way through this video before i realized i didnt need it but thanks anyway.
thx

@MrBlackwoodTV Don't think that would work since it's not in VST format. I suggest buying the VST version from Image Line's store.

@MrBlackwoodTV I don't think that will work since it's not programmed to be a VST. I suggest buyting the VST version from the Image Line Store.

@acedaface954 No. Perhaps your latency on your sound card is too low.

Is there a way to plug this into one channel? I want to plug this into my fpc but everything gets it
bongwatertastey 1 year ago
@bongwatertastey Yes. Just route FPC to one channel in the mixer, then add GrossBeat to the channel on the mixer

Instead of using the "given" effects, i can customize my own and to even use my DJ controller for scratches.

Question: Is it possible to add gross beat to a sequence in the track?
Say I want the effect in a different part of the track and for a little time.
Is that possible?
Angdogg5 1 year ago
@Angdogg5 You can add it to a track, then turn the effect on and off with automation.

Is it possible to slow down the gross beat? I.e I'm using a scratchy effect and I want it to happen less often.. is this possible?
jakec360 1 year ago
@jakec360 Try presets in "Turntablist" Experiment with changing the shape of the curves in the envelope

Default skin for Gross Beat. I'm running Gross Beat from Ableton Live 7 not FL Studio.
