Just because on oth went on for 7 seasons doesn't mean it was better. After all its quality not quantity. I think the oc was the kind of show which coudn't really go on for a long time, but it was amazing while it lasted! I like Ryan better than Lucas, but I still like Lucas a lot. Seth to me is way better than Nathan but I'm not a big fan of Nathan. Marissa and Peyton are tied for me I love them equally. I love Brooke more than I love Summer, but Summer isn't too far behind. But I would say I like Summer better than Haley.
But I have watched OTH way longer than I've watched the OC.
imo one tree hill. all the way. i doubt it'll ever change. great actors, great storys, great director. what else do u want? :P at least they made it to SIX really great seasons! so...?

The OC lasted for 4 seasons. But the last three of their seasons were pretty crap. I loved Season 1 the best. Seth and Summer were an awesome couple.
I sort of liked Season 4 as well, I liked the idea of Ryan and Taylor more than Ryan and Marissa.
Whereas, for the first four seasons of One Tree Hill, I loved Season 1,3 & 4. Peyton was my favourite character.
With both shows, Season 2 sucked honestly.
Overall, ONE TREE HILL was better, it evoked emotion and it made me laugh too!

OTH hands down. Though I was a fan of The OC, I much preferred OTH. Theres a reason why they are still around. ;)
