see theres your problem. there is that woodpecker sound coming from it which means you have the woodpecker virus. The infestation of woodpeckers don't like to peck at plastic so they have to peck it out. Try a wood disk. I bet it would stay it there.

It seems to be mocking you. I've forgotten my wii was on and left it for over 24 hours, and I've done the same with my ps2(haven't yet with my gamecube and ps3, but give me time and I probably will) and none of them have ever suffered any damage from it. I've heard that if you do that with xbox 360 though, you'll get "the rin of death" meaning that the light turns red and it dies for good.
