this song always reminded me of a brass choir playing in a cathedral like notre dame ... stunningly beautiful.

I'm not a huge fan on Eno, but he is an inspiring sound designer.
But this is by far and way the most beautiful, haunting electronic piece he has done.
Timeless.

I'm either having this or Robert Fripp's "Buenos Aires Suite IV: Sky" played at my funeral.

Funny you should say that...I was thinking about having a Brian Eno song at my funeral...how creepily depressing..."Deep Blue Day"

That's weird, I was just thinking I should have 1/1 played at my funeral. To relax everyone. I don't normally think about stuff like that either.

I used this song during a montage sequence in my film 'The Philosophers', which you can find on my profile page (the beginning of part 4, for the impatient among you). One of the finest peices of ambient music I have ever heard.

One of the most beautiful, haunting pieces of music I've ever heard.
This is crying out to be used in a film... something suitably epic and poignant.

Well, this track is very cinematic and epic indeed. Calming, but subtly dramatic. Stylish!

I dont think this song in particular, but he is working on generative music to fit in with the games generative nature.

Seriously? Or is Eno just gonna compose new music for it.
elegant. luxuriant. earthy yet cold.
you have excellent control of the medium.
i wish i knew how to create such velvety rich images with video. each frame is like a silver halide print.
remarkable. please explore more with Eno music.

Be sure to check out my other Brian Eno videos, such as my video entitled, "Lost." You have to go back to my older pages to check some of them out.
