Apparently Ed Flesh died this week, as per David Michaels himself on $100K Pyramid's Facebook page. At the GSC Bob Stewart tribute two years ago, David Michaels said he started working for Basada in NYC on SHoot for the Stars
Well, EZ Care Latex Flat Enamel is still a consolation prize for the Pyramid 5-6 years later. They were commonplace during the last two seasons of Cullen's $25,000 Pyramid.
And an interesting note, aside from Bob Stewart and Anne Marie Schmitt, only ONE other name in the credits moved along with Pyramid from New York to L.A.
Francine Bergman was promoted from Production Manager in New York (circa 1978) to Associate Producer in L.A. in this clip.
and isn't Sean Perry (who worked on the Tom Bergeron version of Hollywood Squares as Executive in Charge of Production or something like that) also related to Jim Perry?
I noticed in the credits that the production manager was Erin Perry. It's interesting because at the time her dad, Jim, was hosting "Sale of the Century" on NBC. This show was on CBS. Must have been an interesting family rivalry.
I actually have a 1987 issue of Game Show Fever magazine, and there's an article on Jim Perry and his daughter Erin, and how they worked on different shows. :)
@gameshowluvr86 And as you brought up Jim Perry, a lot of people don't realize that before he hit it big as a game show host, he actually was on the legendary MusicRadio77 WABC in New York in the early 1970's, mainly doing the news during what was at that time (mainly) Jay Reynolds' overnight show along with doing a two-hour show of his own early Sunday mornings.

They edited out the prize plug because the Mystery 7 was likely not won that day.

Well just so you know:
Constance and Brian went head to head on another Bob Stewart Game Show-GO w/Kevin O'Connell on NBC Daytime which is the spin-off of Chain Reaction.

b/c I recalled an ep. on SotC where Jim brought out Erin on the set.
Also, notice in the credits how it says "Original Pyramid Design" by Jim Ryan. Jim Ryan was the mastermind behind the NYC Pyramid sets.
