@aishah8976 Having read the comments, I don't think anyone's denying Siti's voice is beautiful. In fact, I think everyone here's cutting her a lot of slack because her voice is so beautiful. You don't have to be rude to Hindi speakers and Indian women to prove a point. Just because you have no pride and love for your language doesn't mean others shouldn't have a right to defend theirs.

It seems a bit ironic that she's singing "Tinak Tin Tana" as if it's an Indian song, when in reality it was originally a Malaysian song called "Yang Sedang Sedang Saja" that was copied by an Indian producer into "Tinak Tin Tana" (the Indian producer was later sued for it). And yet the Malaysian audience (or Siti herself) seems to be completely unaware that this was originally a Malaysian song.

@Jagged85 I prefer the original song by Iwan in Malay even though the Hindi version is sung by my favourite Bollywood singer. It's terrible that Iwan wasn't even credited by Sanjeev and Darshan who literally cut and pasted the song into Tinak Tin Tana!

Siti has a really beautiful voice, but her Hindi pronunciation really makes me cringe. Were there no Indians available to make sure she was singing the words right??? I'd like to see her sing a Hindi song (one that hadn't been plagiarized like this one) properly, with an Indian singer! That'd be really wonderful. Love you, Siti!!

@ranbirraj hi.. just for trivia, Siti used to get an invitation from Bollywood's producer to sing their songs, especially for the film's soundtrack but Siti has to decline since her schedule is tight and full with shows.. and on more thing, Siti also used to get a chance to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan in IIFA long time ago when the event was held at Kuala Lumpur, but unfortunately, her schedule makes her missed that opportunity.. u can check all these info in Siti's wikipedia.. =)

@ranbirraj well actually there are alot. its just that punjabis here are not interested in the entertainment industry .. so maybe thts why they cant seek for advise. And yeah.. malays dont really care abt the pronounciation like how the way we do :) bcoz we feel weird listening to slack hindi. they hardly understand the song but yeah.. whole country is crazy abt bollywood. No worries.. entertainment is imp tho! LOL
