Well goku used the Kaioken against pikkon but in a filler, After he did that though he seemed extremely exhausted. Since Kaioken puts on Alot of strain on the body doing it while in super saiyan will either exhaust you or kill you. And yes kaioken does get outmatched by the Ssj transformations, Ssj1 increases your strength x50, ssj2 doubles it, Ssj3 is 4 times stronger than a Ssj2.

@SaysTheGuyThatsGay Kaioken can not be used with Super Saiyan, don't know why! The most Goku used the Kaikoen was like up to 20 times when he fought Frieza! Keep in mind that the Super Saiyan transformation multiplies the strength, hundreds if not thousands of times from the base level (much more than the Kaioken ever could). Funny that Goku knows all the really useful techniques!

@Maloperverso Well with Piccolo if his head gets blown off he can't regenerate, and Cell's head blew up in that blast so Goku probably thought it would work. And I guess Cell held back because he wanted a good fight, he does have Saiyan cells after all. And Goku was pretty shocked at Cell's full strength so he must've been significantly stronger, but Goku probably would've done ok. He's smart so it probably would've been like Vegeta and Recoome.
