Paul Reubens is the actor who created a character named PeeWee Herman. The actor got stuck with the highly-popular character for a few years. Paul Reubens is still alive, still working as an actor and probably happy to be doing something other than Pee Wee.

lol, "its at least as good as police academy"? right there. was ok, but compared to the first movie, well, you cant compare. the first movie was hilarious, i still laugh whenever I watch it. this movie only has a few cheap laughs in it. was ok the first time, but nothing special or anything

I have both Pee-Wee's Big Adventure and Big-Top Pee-Wee on DVD. Sooner or later I plan on getting Pee-Wee's Playhouse on DVD. As of now, I taped my favorite episodes of Pee-Wee's Playhouse off Adult Swim last year.
