  • check out my vids on here. necro live at Texas Heat wrestling in San Antonio Tx.

  • ECW>CZW

    Some wrestling fans are morons

  • So is YO mom

  • every CZW fan is a fucking retard

  • My wife did the hair on "the wrestler". She is in the ring at the beginning of the clip. Im one of the guys that chants "use his leg!" in the part right before this. all of Necro's stuff was real, there were quite a few takes with the staple gun, all real. I remember when we all got back to the Holiday Inn at 2am. Necro walked through the double doors into the lobby wearing only shorts and a bath robe, head to toe covered in blood. all he said was "well, looks like Romney drop out of the race."

  • @pauljjbright Haha! Thanks for that! You're wife did a great job, btw, everyone did. I'm in the crowd somewhere but I still can't see myself because I was hanging over Darren's shoulder looking at his wireless viewfinder. Still a great memory.

  • It's so interesting watching masters at work (Rourke and Aronofsky). The whole movie had such an incredibly real feel about it and this is why. Basically every scene we saw was real. Real shops during real trading hours, real customers, real fans, Mickey really hurting himself

  • @coolbrett Just like wrestling eh? Real men doing real things in the real world and really getting hurt...For the show. As an ex wrestler, gotta say this movie deserved a damn sight better than it got. Your compliment is a compliment to us and I thank you.

  • god, remind me never to go to philly

  • amazing movie

  • lol...I'd rather see a movie shoot than a shitty botch filled CZW show.

  • i would not of chanted boring. this movie was amazing! and not just because im a wrestling fan! but i hated how when this movie came out. the first guys to grab their hands on this movie were the WWE and they promote movies like shit

  • these people do know it takes more than a day to shoot scenes. impatient tards

  • Filmmaking at its best. Mankind at its worst....

  • I wonder if necro's blood n injuries were real of fake. I bet real knowing him lol.

  • @AdamC316

lol you mean, he just came off a match, and then shot the scene with rourke! lmao thats taking it too far

  • where you allowed to do this

  • the scene in the movie is different

  • is a woman filming???

  • @Mirkofia yes, she's the DP

  • CZW should be happy. their faces might show up on film

  • I would have hated to have been crew on this production, and having to deal with these animals chanting "boring" over and over... Kudos to the film crew for getting the job done amidst these people...

  • Would someone be kind enough to answer this question-"Randy the Ram"'s theme is a song that i have no idea what its called,so if anyone knows what its called reply to this

  • "Metal Health (Bang Your Head)" by Quiet Riot

  • Guns n roses- Sweet child o mine

  • it's called Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns N Roses

  • "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'N' Roses

  • Bang Your Head is the Randy's theme, but the Guns N Roses song Sweet Child O' Mine plays at the end of the movie because that's the song Mickey Rourke used to make his entrance with back when he was a boxer. Welcome to the Jungle was just something that they played on set while filming that never made the cut.

  • Thanks. I did not know that.

  • @borntobwild22 Welcome to the jungle

  • CZW fans have no respect for the film makers

  • @ndingo Eh, kind of a double edged sword using the live audience, that could just as easily have gone into a no-sell from the crowd but they stuck it out when the camera's began rolling at least.

  • This is DANGEROUS film making - a real, blood thirsty crowd screaming their heads off .... forget the paid extras. A great, great film. These people were lucky to be there because the film turned out to be a classic.

  • i liked this film i was suprised that they showed ultraviolent wrestling

  • Necro Butcher is the coolest, most genuine person I have ever met.

  • is CZW ever televised

  • this is nice bit of step-ladder that - It must be all of 3 meters. i could use one of these to change that lightbulb half-way up the stairs! I thought necro was going to hit ram with it :-)

  • WOW! the roar of the greasepaint - the smell of the crowd. I wonder how many in the crowd realized what they were actually witnessing - One of the all time great films!

  • these videos are really great. It's amazing to see how they made this crucial scene - which reminded me of course of Requiem - this moment when self-exploitation turns to mere self-destruction and people around are watching, applauding - the impact on me was even stronger. In Requiem you have some sort of distance - because it's just so beautifully done, so artsy. It's great to see, where the intensity comes from: the set was obviously quite intense. A low budget can be a gift.

  • I had to laugh at 0.42 when the stage hand passes up the "tickling stick" as if it is the most normal thing in the world, like its a feather duster. You can (almost) hear him say - "just pass that barb-wire coated weapon up - they may need it later"

  • czw fans have no respect whatsoever....

  • watching all these czw vid's, it looks to me like they have alot of respect, just with an impatient need of violence

  • the czw fans have respect for all...

  • this movie is fucking amazing.I was really moved by the scene right before he has his heart attack.where their trying to bandage him up in the locker room. And He just has this look like almost of shame for himself.Like what has become of my life.

  • yeah its fucking amazing!

  • necro butcher rules!!!!!

  • The Wrestler was amazing. And Its cool u were able to see Mickey Rourke in person.

  • how could u guys chant boring?

  • I wasn't chanting it. I enjoy a good CZW event but I was really there just to see the movie shoot. I was actually impressed that there was so little lag time between takes compared to other sets I've been on, but I guess Aronofsky had a damn good crew.

  • If necro's granny was watching this - she would say "You mind your self on that barbed wire young Dylan. Do not come crying to me when you get a nasty cut and want some TCP putting on it" :-)

  • You realize, don't you, That Necro's mommy put his diapers on with a staple gun. I think Mickey Rourke and Necro Butcher make a dynamic duo.

  • she carried him round K-Mart in barbed-wire papoose!

  • how can this be legal? I know necro does this for real and worse. It must be done with a waiver of consent for legal reasons. I am sure it is banned in UK - but might be done underground. I bet it goes in in the fer east with not fully consenting parties - modern day gladiators and that, real "death" matches etc

  • Because Philly is a town that wants blood constantly, not this. It's cool that they did it, but if you want my opinion, they should have just had made a whole match, not stop. Just burn through it with cameras like wrestling.

  • @Naksa2 they just dont understand what goes into making a film - like most film fans

  • I just checked with a bootleg copy of the movie, and I can confirm that while this scene is DEFINITELY in the movie, they did not use this particular TAKE. In the movie, for example, Necro goes down immediately instead of being stunned for a second, Randy doesn't jump on him and toss back his hair (he just falls on him like he's super tired), Rourke grabs the top rope with both hands and pauses after leaving the ring, etc etc.

Still a favorite scene of mine.

  • so this scene was real??

did the guy really get hit by a real glass?

  • Dude, they actually do that. Necro is a monster, i think he likes it.

  • fans seemed pissed lmao!

  • cool ! the film "the Wrestler" in the CZW !

  • Hello,, hope all enjoyed movie,, i am going to say my name>Mark, ive had 2 back surg.s as a independant wrestler. you can say what you want ive been there and done it, so. when, you say you make 250.k a year, for jumping around, then come talk to me,,,is it entertainment yes. i wont lie, , but then again its all real. when you take a shot to the head and have to try to drive home, 20 min, later, or try to make it to the airport,,, peace up and take care,

  • Respect mate - it must be hard work. Have you done any bouts with foreign objects? Is this common? is it legal

  • This is an example of Hardcore wrestling - a catagory of wrestling that Necro Butcher (the other wrestler in this clip) is a practicioner of - staple guns, etc.

  • Interesting video! All we know the scene, but this this the behind!!

  • I gotta drive 2 hours back what is this shit? Drunk guy yells. Its part of wrestling. Camera crew guy yells back. Its fucking MICKEY ROURKE jackass! We are making a movie and if ya yell good we just might use your ugly ass in the crowd scene! Now shut the F UP! That is what I would have yelled. Ya gotta grow some at a real wrestling event! Surprized Mickey did say anything.

  • no way necro sold out..see the movie

its the best movie i have seen in years, and marisa tomei is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot stripping!!!

  • wait a minute sabu sucks so what if he doesn't respect necro

  • sabu is an amazing compeditor he is a legend not just in ecw but around the world

  • Sabu doesn't suck, try to beat him up he is tough as boot leather, he got his neck broken and continued wrestling, consider that.

  • No, wrestling is predetermined. The athleticism and ability are real, the legitimate injuries hurt just as much as any other sport but these guys don't have time off or months between seasons. They don't get taken out of the ring for any sprain or twisted ankle like in some other more real sports. Give them some respect, or don't run your mouth about shit you know nothing about.

  • your right, but all the stunts they do like mr. mcmahon breaking his leg, or him getting crushed by a billboard on the 1000000 dollar thing thats cra

  • Says a man who sold out to WWE. When he was a GOD in TNA. Where he should have stayed.

  • *Eligibility Rules:

The athlete must have had their first professional wrestling match PRIOR to their first professional mixed martial arts match.

Professional wrestling is defined as having worked (predetermined) finishes.

Professional MMA is defined as a paid MMA match (not amateur or exhibition). For clarity, the fighter must have their record listed on Sherdog's website. (listed above as win - loss - draw).

  • Not eligible for this list are Josh Barnett, Tank Abbott, and Daniel Puder. They all had success in both pro wrestling and MMA, but all had their professional MMA debut before their pro wrestling debut.

Also I should note that Bobby Lashley who just debuted and won in MFA is not listed. 1-0record.

All this can be found on larry weaver's ufc-vs-wwe-pro-wrestlers-mma-fighters blog. I'd link it but it for some reason doesn't work on youtube.

  • Update: Here are some additional candidates for the list: Akira Maeda 10 - 5 - 0 Nobuhiko Takada 2 - 6 - 2 Masakatsu Funaki 38 - 12 - 1 Naoya Ogawa 7 - 2 - 0 Wataru Sakata 6 - 11 - 0 Serjbudee "Blue Wolf" Dolgorsuren 1 - 0 - 0 Jadamba Narantungalag 1 - 2 - 0 Kensuke Sasaki 2 - 0 - 0 Genki "Neo-Samurai" Sudo 15 - 5 - 1 Yoji "Mr. 200%" Anjo 0 - 5 - 1 Geza Kalman 4 - 7 - 0 Glenn Kulka 1 - 0 - 0
  • no im not 13

  • This was filmed in PHILLY .the sceens were shot between matches .i was with the crew.the guys that were wrestling that night were really fcking each other up it was real blood not no fake sht.

  • These fans have NO fucking respect

  • Watch this movie and 25,000 more at freemovies(.)biz(.)nf

  • cool, so they used a real wrestling event to film this?

  • See how they stop moaning when they think they're going to be on camera.

Dance for the camera monkey boys.

    Some wrestling fans are pricks.

  • lol @ anyone complaining about the crowd. they knew that the movie was being filmed that night. i dunno what the hell anyone is complaining about.

  • The crowd are a complete bunch of shits. The guys in the ring right there are actualyl doing something with their lives, that other people can enjoy. The cunts in the crowd are just disrespectful bastards

  • CZW sucks... they try to be hardcore but they're just a childish brand... the fans need to grow up and watch real wrestling.

  • CZW fans disgraced their company and let down true wrestling fans

  • The movie was fantastic. But CZW is garbage and so are its fans.

  • oh no, the company we like might attract some new viewers, we better get angry and boo the people giving our favorite company some exposure!

  • man the audience seem like a bunch of cunts

  • watching this match had me cringing at points

  • If anything it gave Rourke more motivation for his role. Seeing how much a wrestler can do for fans and still gather no respect.

  • The fans were hella burning on everything..lol

    Thats whuts up!

  • OSCAR FOR MICKEY IN 09 !

  • another oscar for Springsteen!

  • And yet they cheer just moments later. Fucking drunks.

  • So fucking disrespectful. This movie was made for these fans and they shit on the like that? Stupid, just plain stupid.

  • they're CZW fans, What are you specting? the czw fans are a bunch of rednecks inbreeders who doesnt care a shit about the business. fuck them

  • i thought they filmed it at a ROH show? either way, leave it to these moron carnival junkie fans to chant BORING while they get to be there during the filming....fcking idiots

  • Lesson learned, dont offer free booze to idiot wrestling fans in order to get them to stay a little longer for a taping. Lesson MFING learned.

  • nevermind my last comment.

  • what are the extras screaming about?

  • Not extras. Those are real wrestling fans; they filmed at actual lower rung wrestling events.

  • "Hollywood, don't Mess with Persian history!"

  • CZW fans are trash

  • Those guys are so obnoxious, kind of like the common youtube user.

  • haha thats so damn true!

  • dont get it

  • man he was pretty well recieved as opposed to david arquette and wcw xD

  • I know this film only has limited release but I hope to god it plays in my city. Just saw the trailer and it looks amazing.

  • Of course it's amazing. It's Mickey......

  • CZW CZW CZW

  • ah...the ECW's child

  • yeah kinda lol

  • I just saw this movie tonight at a Dallas screening. Daren was there and Marisa Tomei. Let me tell you. This film is awesome. Don't go thinking to see mainstream stuff. Arinofsky is a genius.

  • Is it wrong I find it to be HILARIOUS that the WWE shovels out stuff like The Marine yet RoH and CZW are both involved in this movie... that is getting OSCAR talk.

  • hahahah. I love it. typical wrestling fans.

  • e-c-dub e-c-dub e-c-dub

  • the greatest comeback ever!!!!!! Thank you for posting this wonder.

Viva Aronofsky, Mickey Rourke santo subito!!!!

  • that was fucking intense.

  • Calm down...like many other big guys with bigger mouths, his time will come...

  • sitedecinema, Brock Lesnar is the guy you are looking for. Where is my 7ft corpse now?

  • Also Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, Sean 'O Haire, Sylvester Terkay just to name a few. Is this guy serious?

  • I meant WWF-type performers.

  • What does that even mean? All these guys were in WWF or now WWE so therefore they are WWF. No no one thinks pro wrestling itself is a fight style, everyone knows it's entertainment. But there are plenty of people with MMA backgrounds, former NCAA all American wrestlers, and hell even Olympians that have walked through WWE. You really don't have a point at all. WWE guys wouldn't be able to beat an MMA guy. No shit. I am sure they wouldn't be able to beat an NBA player in basketball. What is your

  • point? Do you even have one? lol

  • You'd get you ass kicked by most WWE guys, so what difference does it make? You think watching it makes you tough, makes you a legit fighter?

  • No, but it sure does make u a legit one.

  • Ummm, Brock Lesnar dickhead

  • lol

  • Brock Lesnar.

    Ken Shamrock.

    Tank Abbott.

    Frank Trigg.

All had stints in Wrestling with WWE, WCW and TNA. I'm sure if you look into it there are plenty more too to add to that list, especially in Japan.

  • Tank&Ken got into WWF-like events AFTER their MMA efforts.

  • I know....

  • Ken was a pro-wrestler before he ever got into MMA.

  • You're wrong. Ken wrestled in Japan before he fought in Pancrase.

  • I did not mean WRESTLING as in GRECO-ROMAN WRESTLING.

    I meant WRESTLING WWF-style!

  • hahaha you just got fucking owned, several times over.

  • Some exceptions junt prove the RULE...

  • ah the old cop out. you haven't got a clue. you said that any wwe wrestler would get killed in a mma bout, well there have been plenty that have gone into mma and won enough fights to prove that you're talking bollocks.

  • No COPPING OUT here.

MOST WWF guys are great ACTORS-as in ENTERTAINERS- MMA has proves that being a big guy has nothing to do with winning real fights agains folks trained in other martial arts.

If u still believe that WWF is REAL, then start petitioning for Hulk Hogan to enter those tournaments.

  • no one believes the WWE is real you stupid cunt, all people are saying is that they have actually entered MMA fights an won, proving your argument wrong. Yes they are actors we all know that, but they also put their bodies on the line for the sake of entertainment. I haven't watched wrestling for years but i enjoyed this film, MMA bores the shit out of me and the fact that Lesnar can go into it and become the top dog the way he did proves it's a farce.

  • Stupid Cunt?

Screw u and your trailer park commune.

  • we don't have "trailer park communes" over here cuntrag, they're a specifically American thing, for fat useless idiots.

  • Yeah, and for FAT, USELESS IIOTS from other parts of the world, also.

    People who call others CUNTRAGS.

  • are you 13 years old?

  • Ken and Tank were in WWF-like ´bouts´ AFTER their fights in MMA events

  • I know, point being?

  • Some losers cannot accept that 99.9% of their troglodite heroes in the WWF world, despite all the screaming, macho posturing and years of steroid use, would not last 50 seconds in a cage-like fight even if against someone half their weight.

  • WWE*

That's the case with some of them. There is a lot of pro-wrestlers who have "real" wrestling backgrounds though. Sure, might not be professional MMA but a hefty number have had some form of matt wrestling and/or martial arts experience before becoming corporation TV puppets.

Some (but certainly not all) could have decent stints in the real fighting world. I semi-agree with you, I guess is what I'm trying to say but saying they're all the same is hardly fair.

  • Well, LIFE is not fair.

U want FAIR, go back to your DUKES OF HAZZARD episodes.

  • *rolls eyes*

Immaturity will get you know where in "LIFE".

  • Writing KNOW WHERE instead og NOWHERE will only get u back in the slums...

  • Haha wow I didn't even notice I'd wrote that.. Ah well, that's what trying to reply to morons while having mates around will do to you. xD

Grow the fuck up now. :)

  • Ok, I will do that after you assure me you will stop hunting possums and learn how to write correctly.

  • Jesus, I have one error in my grammar because I wasn't paying attention and that's now the basis for your argument? Ridiculous.

I think I made a valid point before, but I guess ignorance is bliss.

Replying with shit like "Well, LIFE is not fair. U want FAIR, go back to your DUKES OF HAZZARD episodes." is beyond stupid, just so you know.

People like you who try to argue the slightest pathetic thing, then justify them with comments like the above are the reason YouTube is getting shit.

  • ..and if you want to get on the subject of grammar. I think you'll be slightly surprised to find that "U" is not a word.

  • U is a way of writing YOU, just like 2 for TO NITE for NIGHT.

By the way, writing KNOW WHERE instead of NOWHERE (two words that have NOTHING to do with the meaning you intended), are not related to excessive speed while typing.

    Try again, next time.

Maybe Hulk Hogan admirers would/will ´buy´ your explanation, not me.

  • I never said it was from excessive speed typing now. I just simply wasn't paying attention so my grammar had an error in it, get over it. Lol

But if you're really going to pick out grammatical faults in peoples comments (which is verging on pointless as it is) then you should really make sure yours is spot clean, otherwise the high ground slips from beneath your feet.

..and Hulk Hogan is probably the biggest shit stain to ever happen to wrestling.

  • My point is that U mean YOU when writing informally (It´s just like a SLANG...that does not make it wrong).

Other than that, I agree with u.

Back to Phillip Rourke´s playing a down-and-out wrestler, now...

  • ok mate lol, least we agree on that! :P

you seen the wrestler? I watched it a few days back, was better than I expected..

  • Not yet.

I´m not a fan of the Director, by ANY MEANS.

I will watch it to see Rourke a very good actor when he wants to.

  • Yeah, same here. I didn't expect much going in but it surprised me. The only thing I didn't like was the ending. Felt it was left a little too open.
