cameron you did a great job ...from watching this vid I decided to install a precompiled verion on a separate partition of my ubuntu machine seeing as how it uses the grub bootloader but I did have a question and that is if it would work with burg??better known as grub 2.0??
@ozzyunoe Personally I tried to get it working with GRUB 2.0 on mine but could never get it to work properly. I'm not sure if it is just me being dumb or if Android is not compatible with 2.0.
@Colton328 The battery life under my usage doesn't seem to have been affected much by the change to Android. Although Android doesn't support all the power management features that Windows does, Android doesn't seem to be as heavy on resources so it all seems to balance out.
@fungyei Yes, my WiFi does work. If, like me, you use WPA or WPA2 security, you will need to enable the "WPA Supplicant", to do this, navigate to the folder that you used to build android, then to build>target>board>generic_x86 and open the file "BoardConfig.mk" and then add the line below to that file, save it and then build android.

on 1.6 i can find networks but on 2.2 it cant find networks how do i fix it

Does your Wifi works? I also had Android 2.2 installed on NC10, but the Wifi does not work. Well, the Ethernet LAN works well......

There's a unstable version of Android 2.2 on x86 now..
And also you can install Android Market check the XDA forums for info! Nice video though ;)
