Thank you for sharing this old cartoon which is one of my favorites. The old cartoon showed what kids back then dreamed about and it was special because kids didn't have as much as today. I think we were the lucky ones:)

I have this cartoon on two dvds....and i have loved it since I was a little girl. It is so charming, so...just..beautiful! Makes you wanna be in that world right along with those kids and just enjoy all of that sweet chocolate ice cream and eat from the popcorn field and eat some of that giant cake! I love this cartoon! Same situation, when i was little my mom didn't make much money we were pretty poor, and when there was no cable all we had was our big box of recorded VHS tapes, we had this on a tape donated to us with many other cartoons from way back, and i too remember relating to this. nice to know someone else relates in the same way as well. :-)

I remember we had this whole collection of short old films, and I kept trying to describe this one to my mom but she had no idea what I was talking about! Then I just typed in "dreamland" and it came up! It's crazy how our memories work! I'm trying to collect all of my childhood for my future kids. Oh nostalgia.
