2) The Storyline is what separate this game from any other game. Halo , killzone, and L4D have decent storylines and a different game concept. Homefront has neither. It is just another arcade shooter with a half assed story line that doesn't make any sense.
i watched all 5 of your videos on why not to buy homefront and the only argument you make is that the storyline is unrealistic. you cant make an opinion big enough to say "this game sucks if you buy it you're an idiot" just on your dislike for the story when there is so much more to the game than the storyline. You didn't say anything about multiplayer, the concepts in multiplayer, the game mechanics or the gameplay only the story. That's like saying don't eat that, i don't like the name.

But like I stated in Part 4 the only separation factor from this and COD is its storyline. Simply put why spend another $50 on a game you already own? And again the developers storyline is to produce a emotion of "war being hell" why would anyone get that emotion if the protagonist is unbelievable?
@NoNoseProduction watch the multiplayer interviews. watch some videos. watch the trailers. its vastly different from cod in many differnent ways. why put so much effort into bashing a game which hasn't come out yet which means 1. the gameplay could be amazing for all you know and 2. the storyline will be explained way better than any sumamry or trailer could. do you get all the storys depth from a cod trailer? no because you dont get any. Atleast wait till it's released because your not credible
@CrankHQ I did watch the videos there is nothing that they are doing different from any of the modern shooters. The only thing separating it is the story line and they already failed that by choosing a shit protagonist. COD, takes things out of proportion to but I can't go bashing COD now since its out and thats it. I am just getting tired of these shoddy made sorry excuse shooters coming out. @NoNoseProduction true, it is your opinion but saying you shouldn't get the game just because the storyline isn't to your liking is rediculous. the introduction of battle points, purchasing system and the battle commander and ground control game modes make it a completely different shooter. it's got dedicated servers unlike CoD and the way the equipment and loadouts are configured an infantryman, if he's skilled enough can take down an apache. It seems it comes down to skill unlike CoD
@CrankHQ Sounds more gimmicky and its just replicating what BF2 was able to do several years ago. And from my understanding Black Ops has dedicated servers, so again no real change.
@NoNoseProduction black ops on PC has dedicated servers. console relies on hosting. black ops is full of idiots and nooby content. homefronts only multiplayer weakness iv seen (i saw pleanty with black ops before release) is the melee system is as fast as black ops. if they patch that the game will be amazing. You don't seem to know much about homefront or CoD so i don't expect you to sympathise but trust me it's gonna be fair and balanced
@CrankHQ Because regardless I don't think the mulitplayer aspect of a game should carry it to the next version. It should have a solid story line then a good multiplayer(like everyone is capable of) but if your going to sell a mulitplayer game then drop the price and make it WOW, subscribe to play a game you can buy for $10...its called BF2 brosef. And I know enough about both games to see no strives in development other then a newer physics engine and incremental graphical updates.

@NoNoseProduction *sigh* the difference between bf2 and homefront is that in bf2 anyoine can whore a tank or apache and sit by its spawn, boobytrap spawns ect its really slow paced and its meant to be. homefront is meant to be a fast paced large scale warfare game where players get tanks and apaches based on how well their doing and anyone with enough battlepoints can equip a rocket launcher if they need to. there are similarities but more notibly, there are differences.
@CrankHQ I have never actually seen a tank/apache be that useful they are very vulnerable to AT/AAMs the only thing that is a bit OP is the jets, but thats only their speed. This also causes them to be a momentary threat like in RL.
And most of the differences you mentioned are small. You can easily just say well they about it differently but overall its the same damn concept with a poop story line and a $50 price tag to boot.

@CrankHQ when the game is released I will do a review it I assume...or not even bother. But at the moment the game developers sicken me so I will most likely not buy it. But I will play it to see if its any different from BF2-BFC2 COD4-Blackops....or how much of HL2 they took...w/e going to poop now
